Haven't you ever heard that some people in their graduating class are older and some are younger. Well, Darius is one of the younger ones in his class. AAU goes by age, not class

that it doesn't go by age, its by class. so if you got left back in middleschool, you can still play 15u as a freshman even if you're 16. thats just an example. the age group is just an average for what age most kids in that grade are. i know 18 year olds who play 17u because of the grade they are in. all that crap is nonsense about age. lots of guys dont follow those rules. i know of nationally ranked aau teams in my area who dont follow those rules
