Fantastic song, got this and Magic Smile on 7 inch single, must have worn them out, and got Zazu on CD from a Car Boot Sale about 5 years ago for the pricey sum of £1, and its mint, had no idea it was quite collectable, just thought £1 why not, and its fantastic.

An absolute jewel of a video and song. Many, Many thanks for finding and posting it. My then girlfriend, now best wife ever, had a copy of Zazu and we've both been fans ever since. Sure wish there'd been a second album but, oh well, we'll take what we can get!

I got see her show in NYC supporting this record around 1987. And got to meet Rosie and hang bit in the early 90's. She was a Steely Dan fanatic!

OK, after some more time has gone by and I've had a chance to listen to this song again I realize I was too harsh on the music. Rosie is still one of the most beautiful women on the planet. I love that hair! She has grown even more beautiful with time. I still don't love her voice, but I do love the Steely Dan influence. Her voice is a little too deep and monotone for my tastes. But I could watch her videos all day and even turn the sound up a little bit...The music does grow on you though.

Bit o' Trivia: The synth/guitar unison solo on this was nothing less than the return to recording of that dynamic duo Walter Becker and Donald Fagen!!!! After they came together to help Gary Katz on this project, they started writing together again ('Snowbound' was one result of that time) and the seeds of Steely Dan's return were sown. Oh, and it was ROSIE'S idea to get them together! Thanks, Rosie.

Rosie may be hot, ex-girlfriend of my music idol (Jeff Lynne) and a red head to boot, but she can't sing worth crap! This song sucks! She sounds like she's one of those American Idol contestants that Simon would say "To be honest, I thought that sounded like a cheap rendition of a cruise ship singer! Well, I'm sorry but it's the bloody truth!"

If a model made an album these days she is derided but this was exquisite. I am one of those who has paid a fortune for this CD on Amazon. Tonto is the best driving songs I've heard. Someone at iTunes needs to get their act together and load this up soon.

Absolutely great vid. A good friend of my ex-girlfriend hung out with Rosie in New York where she was one of Calvin Klein's favorite models. She told Rosie that I was a big fan and Rosie sent me a signed LP for my B-day. Really nice person as well.

Every 'Dan' fan should have a copy of this brilliant 1986 album!!

It was the 1st time Donald & Walter had played together since disbanding Steely Dan over 5 years earlier. It was also a reunion with their long time producer, Gary Katz and boy, can't you just hear it! Top drawer musicians included Rick Derringer - guitar, Jimmy Haslip - Bass and Jim Keltner on drums.

Thanks for that video which i had not seen before.fell in love with this lady when I saw her on a TV programme,about when Zazu was released I guess,A gig was advertised in London but when I went for a ticket was informed it was cancelled.Sad she did nothing else.She does get to sing on the movie .Inside Edge.
