This is definitely a good tutorial, but I wouldn't recommend pulling your eyes taut when you do this kind of stuff. It will make them more wrinkly than they should be as you age. :/

@yermawmycurlers Most soft kohl pencil liners shouldn't need much warming O_o even when I lived in Michigan, in the winter at my barely heated beauty school my cheap liner was soft enough for a smooth application.

Basically find a circular area of your eye... as close to the outer corner as possible. Imagine TWO lines instead of one that just touch the edge of the circle, meeting at a central point level with the corner of the eye... like this <O. The point where the lines meet would be a good place for your eyeliner to extend to... however when doing a cat eye... ANY point on that lower line would be ok to finish your eyeliner because it would still be on the same tangent.
