great job, but at the end, instead of playing the final chorus with each note accompanied its its higher octave, play an e power chord followed by adding a major 3rd to the e string while playing that same chord, then play an inverted d bar chord followed by an inverted b chord. the chord progression was correct, but with the wrong intervals. just a suggestion, sounds great anyway.

Good job...i also play it with my band...i dont use phaser(because i dont have any)but I use Wah and it's cool(not the same but we play it as a cover)...and where would you use harmonist o.O? I think everything is cool...maybe echo lil bit too harsh...but if you like it that way let it be.

yes, u have right about the echo, in fact with the years i been playing better this song, with less echo and another phaser equalization in the chord part. maybe someday i put in here a new video with the new sound.

when i was more younger than now, i been using a Wah in the bridge part, i remember what this way sounded really cool, but then i falls in a weird obsession for get the real sound of this song, and spend sleepless nights trying to find it XD!

Einziger uses four different pedals: Distortion (the boss mega distortion pedal is great), Phase shifter (boss ph3), Flanger (anything but digitech), and delay (boss dd6 or dd7). He uses two phase shifters during the break down to get more range in the phase change. Also there is not distortion in the verse like this kid has.

actually in this song, mike uses three different phasers, a ph3 in the verse, a dunlop MXR in the chord, and another ph3 in the bridge.

by the way, mike didn't use any distortion pedal, he use the amps channels ;).

Mike actually doesn't use the new Boss PH-3 as it has a different tone, according to Larry the tech. He uses the discontinued BOSS PH-2 (2 PH-2s) and an MXR Phase 90.

its a super phaser, you need to turn the 2nd mode onn, the first knob its like in 3 or 4, the second on 8, and the thrd knob on 7...thats how i use it and its the exact same sound
