Lovely video, great speed! Once in Spain at Alcala de Henares one of the Acelas sailed by and I had to hold on to my daughter lest she be blown off the platform! Damned wind blast nearly knocked me off my feet as well, and I'm no skinny man!

Agree, too, with simpletimes222 - love the A4's!!! Didn't know they still ran. Good to see!

@MrMoorkey Apparently the fireman had problems with too much clinker blocking the drafting through the ash-pan and DNZ literally ran out of steam. It stopped at Hitchin. Then limped along to Stevenage and Potter's Bar. It was agreed to fail it at Potter's Bar. Barry

@bkendlerA4 Damn. Does it break down a lot? It seems it's been on the program quite a bit, only to be replaced by Ollie Cromwell, or just plain cancelled.

@MrMoorkey I don't think it's maintenance record is too bad. If you're thinking of when Ollie replaced it on the Lindum Fayre on 3rd December that was because of one of the letters on the tender coming loose. The cancellations have been largely caused by the East Coast Main Line steam ban during the week.  Barry
