This is really lovely. I liked it, i mean, you weren't trying to mimic Ruki that much. some points you did go onto the wrong note or start a second early, but its one of the best covers. I really enjoyed it, and i hope you continue to cover more. I understand you are putting emotion into it but at some points it sounds a little moany, but i think that is just because you are putting a lot of emotion. Critisms was to be expressed in a more respectful way, "wow so bad my ears hurt and bleed" is not critisms. I don't want to take this conversation too far or anything, I get what you meant by your comment now, however, if you've heard these guys Live and listen closely you can here the difference between Live and studio.
I know effects were used in the studio because I produce music, and effects are needed to make vocals sound clean and clear: EQ, Reverb, Delay, and even Auto-tune (which was made to be a pitch corrector). A lot of time and work goes into mixing and editing music alone. I know The GeazettE aren't a pop band, but they do use effects to a certain extent, whereas this cover isn't, if anything he's only using a condenser vocal mic since it sounds so clear.

Okay, I did as you asked, and still, I get the feeling, that you put too much pressure on your voice. Maybe because you're trying TOO hard, or controlling your voice too much. If so, then your control over your voice is pretty amazing, but that damages your singing. Try to let loose a bit, and while recording a song, don't think about the mistakes you can make or anything like that, just sing.
Maybe that's not even the issue, but I get this kind of feeling anyway..
