that is the perfect depiction of GSD's..beautiful, intelligent, and loyal to those they love. my dad has the biggest shepherd i have ever seen and he is so gentle with all the grandkids. objects in the way of his tail dont come out as lucky tho lol. If u try to harm his flock u better be able to run faster than him tho.....

People have bad views on protections dogs, but most people just want them like this. If your saying your dog will protect you without training even if it is a german shepherd, sorry to burst your bubble it will try but not succed because they need to be trained how to bite properlly =).

No dog is more loyal then a german shepherd they are great with children they are raised with and very protective of them. Nice dog

LOL when mine does the pull-pull-pull-pull as depicted in 0:58 to 1:01 of this vid, that's usually when the squeaky toy's head is torn off :P I'd really hate to be pulled around by the arm like that!

This is what every kid should be able to have it's a shame the law would not allow protection dogs to stay with kids this would avoid so many taken by pheodiphiles and other nasty people.

yes it indeed is as childeren can very easily be playing and the dog will confuse it with violence, which is why one has to be carefull whilst the little ones friends are aound.

nope it is tru u can do german sheperds dont even need to be trained to bite(becouse of the loyalty)

 if they r brought up with children n if the child is in danger the dog will fight to death to protect her
