hi there i want to buy a new car and i think it will be an ibiza fr buth now i don't now witch i must choose the 5 doors or 3 what car is this that your drive in ?

@ukkie1990 Hi ! I have the 3d version. I wanted a 5d but i would have to wait 4 months so i chose the 3d. If you use the rear seats ofter (3-4 passengers) then i would suggest the 5d version. It may not look so sport but it has more space and much easier entry at the back seats.

@ukkie1990 In the city now i get about 9-10 L/100km (but with some agressive driving). On the highway with 140-180km/h => 7,5- 8,5 L/100km. With 200-220+....... 15-16 L/100 ...

this new ibiza is a epic fail... i got the 2008 ibiza fr 1.9 tdi 130cv and can reach 230km/h much better....

@xxgreenxx2 The car was brand new, with 3 passengers and in D mode. Not even used kickdown mode to accelerate. Now it car accelerate much better, and certainly faster than a stock 1.9 tdi. Just watch other videos from mk5 FRs and Cupras

vtxracer, how many kms have u on the FR at the moment? I'm 4.500 about and i feel the turbo and exhaust different in the sound, maybe my impression or also your? The consumption with less cold temperatures it's about 13.5 km/l, i drive around 90km/h and sometimes I have fun on the road....ehehe.... not much but better than 1 months ago...ciao

When traveling with 120-130 tou get about 6-6,5 l/100km. On 150kmh i have not tried, but on 200++ you get 16+ l/100

after some weeks do you confirm the FR consumption of 14-15 km/l? as you told before? your impression about DSG? thanx man

The consumption is still the same. About 7-8.5L/100km and in very heavy traffic where you have to stop and start every second i get no more than 11L/100km which is very good even compared to a non turbo 1.2 L car.

On the highway when you travel with 120 and you keep the speed steady, you get 5-6L/100km.

The Dsg is perfect, now that it has abjusted to my driving style, is can do precise shifts and stay at very low rpm.

if you stay @ verry low rpm how can you perform whit your petrol dude the power is in high rpm....

It has a supercharger and a turbo so the power is available low, from 1280 rpm.

Έχεις δίκιο. Λόγω τουρμπο και κομπρεσορα η περισσότερη δύναμη είναι διαθέσιμη χαμηλά. Το είχα στο D και αλλαζε στις 6500 rpm. Αν ήταν στο S τότε θα άλλαζε στις 7000. To καλύτερο για τέτοια είναι τα paddles, αλλάζεις όποτε δες και εκμεταλεύεσε όλη την δύναμη.

have you driven a turbo engine? The power in turbocharged engine starts from low rpm and stays up to mid. Most turbos have power peak at 5.5k rpm or after that they are not that powerfull. Even if its powerfull up to to the limiter the best accelerations can be achieved by changing up before 6k rpm. That's a fact for downsized engines that are tuned to work well on low-mid range

this engine has powerfull since 1.300 rpm, do you confirm this? I think its one of the most important think in this engine for drive on the streets every day without to push rpm so high and take low the consumption

The power is available from very low rpm (from 1200rpm !!) and it is very quiet and relaxing to drive in the city. 7th gear at 60km/h !!
