  • Im a BIG fan of Mr.Bublé, but I think he can sing this song MUCH better, slower n gentler..

  • this song was written by Charlie Chaplin in 1938 for his wife and that was the days of silent movies but there was records. Don't like this version of it but I do like Barbara Streisand, This was Michael Jachson's song.Buble is an excellent singer and a great entertainer.

  • he destroyed the song

  • You guys are all complaining about his version being too fast and happy, but that's just HIS version. Stop complaining about wonderful music. my goodness.

  • dancing here xox

  • @century123ful Really? !?really!?

  • wow its awesome!!!

but i think it's better to slow down the tempo a lil bit..

that's why i must say that i like micheal jackson's version better

  • in love with this man.

  • NNNNNNGH. EARGASM.

  • Don't care what people say. This is just a different version, and it made me want to stand up and do a wrinkley dance!

  • Hey Boobalay...way to ruin a terrific song. Do you and Connick have to over jazz EVERYTHING you do? Sometimes less is more, dip shit!

  • @jessperr Buble just brought a very depressing up tempo. I liked it !!!

  • I REALLY LIKE THIS COVER. ACTUALLY BETTER THAN NAT's -----as in KING Cole.

  • This is great. If you like the song listen to Tony Bennett's, Judy Garland's and Josh Groban's versions. They will blow you away.

  • charlie chaplin :P this is the best song !

  • Esta es una de esas canciones que no puedes sacar de su ritmo, pierden toda su emotividad... Me encanta Bublé, pero claramente, este fue un mal trabajo!

  • I'm a huge fan of Charlie Chaplin..to hear his song to this day makes me smile. Michael does a fantastic job.

  • Josh Groban for ever !!!!

  • Oh man, try Dean Martin's version and you'll never come back to hear "this one"....

  • IL VOLO´s version :)

  • I think this version is a bit to quick and upbeat, it should be slow and simple.

  • THIS IS A TERRIBLE ARRANGEMENT, APPARENTLY MICHAEL IS TOO YOUNG TO KNOW ABOUT THIS SONG - IT IS A SAD, BEAUTIFUL SONG BUT HE JUST KILLS IT. SORRY MICHAEL TRY AGAIN.

  • i prefer Michael Jackson's version. good job though

  • Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Yes, Michael Buble could sing the alphabet and it still be a hit. But can he sing Paparazzi or Just Dance by Lady Gaga? Let's see. Take that Michael Buble!

  • Oh dear Michael........please record again as it was meant to be sung, you could do it beautifully, this rendition is friggin awful sorry

  • Love this :')

  • I lovelovelove Michael (: I also love this song, and he did a really great job, however, I think the up beat jazz is a little bit too much for the song. x

  • Did like until jazzed up, ruined it.

  • theres so much going on at once with this cover...

  • Nothing to do with the feeling of this song, but it´s michael bublé´s version,I really think there´s no need for such a lot of instruments to a so beautiful and simple song as the Smile itself like chaplin ´s described in this wonderful tune.

only a piano and his beautiful voice would be enough...

  • It's a new twist on the words for sure, gives it a great beat...still like the NKC version better...there's just something so comforting to it, like a nice hug from Mr.Chaplin himself

  • I like that he does this song a little differently than the original. Although the original version does have a melancholy sound and tune to it, i like how Michael matches the message of the song (to SMILE!) to the upbeat swing version hes done with the song. It is meant to be a message of hope and I think he captures that with the big band sound.

  • Pretty sure if my heart could sing, I'd want it to sing like this...

  • What an amazing trumpet section!!!

  • I love everything about this, but I feel like the original lyrics make this song ironic because it has a melancholy tone to it of course. The background would be great if it was a different song. Love that fast swing though.

  • If it was sung in the melancony version it would have made me cry. I love Michael, but i don´t like this version very much.

  • @dynavieh try the Michael Jackson's version

  • sooo getting that tattoo'd 'smile through your fears and sorrows'

  • why???????!!!!! just fucking sing!!!!

  • screw smiling, I'm dancing! :]

  • i person can't smile

  • Love Michael's music. I am a big fun. But, I have to say I am not too crazy about this version of the song. Too much going on. That's just me though. Still love your music Buble!

  • @tejada007 He turned it more into a poppy swing song, as opposed to the original, melancholy hopeful feel. I think it's good, but the emotion was changed.

  • @tejada007 I think I TOTALLY get what you're saying! ;)

  • Words by john turner and geoffrey parsons and music by charlie chaplin

  • :) michael buble, i'm smiling for you.. now will you MARRY ME!! i love this sonnngggggg :D

  • my name is enteng and i love this song so much!

  • wow you know I have never hear da bad cover of this Charlie Chaplin Classic. He put an intresting twist on it.

  • The best

  • loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee thisssssssssss from albania
