I use Adobe Audition to record. In this case I used the microphone as the left audio channel and the keyboard as the right channel, and then mixed them afterwards, so I could process equalization and dynamic range independently.

No, it's the Roland XP-10 original sound, "Piano 1d". I think Roland's soft synths have that one... but I don't really know
