My one and only idol forever end ever sins i was 7 years old.The first song i heard was hound dog and then i was hooked! He could sing all kinds of songs and he was a great guitar and piano player too and hes vibrato is one of a kind.ELVIS FOREVER!
This man was as close to as perfect a human being as possible. Someone I had always wanted to be like. I idolized this man and still do. Elvis, Ill never forget you brother.
@ElvisRockPresley Not really attempting to prove my sexuality although if you can provide a reasonably good looking willing girl, I'm happy to do so!!! Thanks for your thoughts though. I probably would have been more accurate to say, I love him like a brother, certainly like him a lot more than certain members of my extended family!!!
Seeing this footage is incredible! He hardly struggles to go up on 3:05
In 1976/1977 he reached notes that he only reached in falsetto earlier in his career. I found it strange then that they for example had to do "Danny Boy" in a lower key (than first planned) in the studio... He had his big voice to the very end! God bless him!
The "italian" rendition (which can't be as the song it's in neapolitan dialect) it's a good intro for Elvis version. Which is almost perfect and as good as the original release in 1960. I don't like the overstuffed arrangement, but Elvis vocals were almost tops and he is no straining anything. He renounces to go higher at last as he does in another version (can't remember which) but I perceive the feeling that he was liking singing this song, and being on a stage while doing it. He thrills me.
He could still sing to the end. EPE would only release the audio, but still refuses to release the picture. They wish him forever young and beautiful.
I am an outrageously heterosexual male, married with 2 beautiful daughters but I love this man, have done since I was a kid, closest thing to a hero I ever had. I mean how cool was he?
his voice is just lovely,NO ONE CAN SING A BALLED LIKE ELVIS ,THOSE LOVELY SOFT NOTES HE SANG IN THEM DAYS HE NEVER STRAINED HIS VOICE ,BUT AS HE GOT OLDER HIS VOICE GOT DEEPER AND HE HAD TO, HE WAS MY DARLING END OF.
@kimmypie88 he hides the fact that he is straining extremely well. only a musician can notice it. at the end he still had a 4 octave range which is incredible!
@ElvisPresleyFanatic1 what do you mean he was straining extremely well?..He never lost his amazing voice. he had God given talent. i just want to know what you meant by he strained extremely well?
Friend of my Family in Niagara Falls worked at the ticket office at the old Buffalo Memorial Auditorium gave us all good seating tickets for his concert there in June 1976. Most awesome concert I ever went to. It is impossible to describe the experience unless you are a real Elvis Presley fan and been to any of his concerts
You can't help but LOVE ELVIS . He has the GREAT PERSONALITY to go with the GREAT VOICE . That's just one of the many reasons he has TENS of MILLIONS of fans WORLDWIDE . Thanks for this one and exceptional sound quality.
The older he was the better he was, we lost a great talent, i cant imagine what he would of sounded like if his health wasn't so bad and he lived longer, we miss you "E" with much love and respect !
My god, Elvis's voice was always powerful but here he was blowing the roof off! Elvis definitely had one of the best singing voices of all time. Simply brilliant. Elvis will always be one of my heroes. We miss you Elvis!
