do any one have any poetic description that describes the game of stefan edberg? I feel on top of the world and there is no better spectacle in any sport than an in sync serve and volley service game of stefan edberg.... Love you mate..
This was the second tournament (after Japan Open I believe) where he tried a new Adidas racquet (this was around the time when his Wilson Prostaff sponsorship ended). Apparently, Edberg did not like the new racquet and never tried another one until retirement.
In fact Stefan would say he never changed his racquet during his career other than one time where he tried out a new racquet for a tournament or two. After firmly establishing himself as a superstar (w/ 90 Wimbledon win) he received a new Wilson sponsorship, and used the same raquet with a Pro Staff Classic 6.1 (disguise) paint job for about a couple of year. Thereafter, he went back to the original make up he always played with.
