maaan i had the very first game on the PSX. after that game, i have been following the games after the first and it just keeps getting better and better. But WIPEOUT HD FURY just made the franchise epic as hell. the ships are badass, the graphics are AMAZING, the soundtrack is ok if you like techno or you can play your own music, and the gameplay is astounding. thats what made WIPEOUT go above and beyond other racing games. If anyone has the welcome back package on the PSN, WIPEOUT is your game!

The problem is that only people with accounts before April 21 can access the "Welcome Back Pack", and 92% of the people on PSN already had 2 accounts prior to that date. Anyone who doesn't have at least 2 accounts in PS3 is a total dumbass since it comes in handy when you want to get stuff that only exists in PS Store's from another country or in situations like this one with the "Welcome Back Pack". But nice try though

The four Fury tracks are a bit meh. Pleasant and 'professional-looking' but none are as interesting as Sebenco, Chenghou, Sol 2 or Ubermall.

Can't stand the Fury ships. (i) Ugly / unwipeout-like (ii) Performance-upgraded, so that everyone has to use them or be at a disadvantage (iii) the Fury icaras extends the imba-ness of the icaras (which was already OP) to an obscene degree, especially on Venom/Flash/Rapier.

For all that, the zone battle, eliminator and detonator modes are all great fun.

@AlephNeil there is no ship imbaness...it really depends all on playstyle ive gotten better speed laps with my feisar than with icaras at some points.

@DaColdFlash The basic problem is shields being especially tough or weak doesn't mean much, because (i) barrel rolls always cost 15 (ii) good players rarely hit the walls (and are good at dodging mines and bombs).

So the ships which sacrifice performance for shields are underused, and the ship which does the opposite is the most popular. It's not a huge deal though.

@b1gbudda when you start campain you see 2 squares, the left 1 is fury and the right one is the normal wipeout, the extra modes are zone battle and demolition or something like that.

when you got an error while downloding the content or something goes wrong u can download it again.

go to your XMB>PlayStation Network>Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to complete the process." thats the only way to download the free games again

@gamesisfunny battlefield's maps are pretty darn big. while maybe not sandbox (gta), they are sandboxey, since they are extremely open and unlinear. MAG, is also a sandboxy shooter. he's right when he says battlefield is sandboxey. cod however with it's strickt paths and small maps, isn't (just to name an example ofc)

Just go to the Playstation Network coulmn, and then Account Management -> Transaction Management -> Services List -> SCEA Promotions

@ThringtonBennet Get Dead Nation. If you already have the original Wipeout HD. No point in getting an expansion, if it is pretty much the same game. Give yourself more variety of games to add in your PS3 collection! Also, I own Dead Nation, that game is fun and intense! It is like Left 4 Dead, but more arcade-like and very fast paced!
