  • This very plane in now sitting in front of a hanger in Ingham and is owned by Donald Blanch. Donald's father Ted Blanch was my hero as a kid. Never seen anyone fly a plane like Ted could. Was sad to hear that cancer got Ted in the end. Donald still has the first plane that Ted started his company with, a Piper Pawnee Pa-235 C,VH-IGM. I had the pleasure of flying with Ted when he had a two seater Pawnee and that will stay with me till the day i die.

Glad to see there is still a passion out there for the old radial. I accompanied the previous owner to the hand-over of FEB. Whilst I was there I saw Dons'big chopper being readied for fire fighting duties. I took a number of vids of FEB, unfortunately most with my old analogue camera. My first vid using my new digital wasn't that great as I was still getting used to using the new camera. Spent many an enjoyable day filming a very skillful pilot at work. Cheers, Peter B.

  • @tonitksato1 The P&Ws weren't made in poland.

  • The engines for these are made in my city in Poland. Now that factory makes engines for F-16 fighter jets. These planes are excellent for spraying roles and im really suprised to see them in Australia.Mind you i used to live in Sydney NSW. Anyways these planes are the best and even farmers in America and Canada use them.
