  • Thats The Problem Of Buying Things Online! Unreliable.

  • The first time it was on Ebay, My dad had bought it and he didnt get it because of the mis description. The engine in it really needs work too.

  • @coutts1993 OMG!! Please write me again at my email address. Did he report it to Ebay? I'm thinking about suing Ebay because there are a bunch of complaints about this guy and he's had four Ebay ID's.

    hatinnd@yahoo.com

  • @hatinnd hello.i just wanted to say that whoever sold you that car is the biggest piece of crap.Sorry to hear you got ripped off by some douchebag who doesnt know the meaning of honesty.

  • If you didn't pay much for it then restore it yourself

  • @Dartht33bagger

It ended up costing $13,300. Waaaaay too much for the car in this shape. I only recently licensed it and drove it and the front end's going out? I'm not sure what, but it was smoking.

Ebay is nothing but a haven for fraud.

  • @hatinnd I only buy from craigslist because at least I can drive to the spot and see it. I got my 1991 Z28 Camaro off of there but there was at least 4 cars I went to see before that one that claimed they were great but in reality sucked. So just don't buy before you see them online.

As for the car now, sell it or restore it. Not much else you can do :\

  • Well you cant sell her for that price so you might as well make the best of it and atleast try and fix her up. But for a car like this (And I love Trans Am's) Would say about the price range of 3-$2.000. Sorry that you were strolled on ebay. But I just saying at least you have a trans-am to work with. Best of luck.

  • Update: After finding an MSNBC news story about Ebays knowledge of fraud and their indifference to buyers losses to it, I'm going after EBAY. I've already contacted two attorney generals from ND and IL. Google "Ebay fraud" to see the story from MSNBC.

  • People will would kill for a car like that. Suck it up. Fix her up. Make her a show car.

  • @Wimberlord7

Well I'll sell you this one for the low low price of $13,300. Pay me and YOU can fix her up!! (price doesn't include delivery to you)

  • @Wimberlord7 suck it up???? the car is a turd and so are you.

  • Comon really. Some people would still kill for a car like this. Suck it up and fix her up.

Then it will be a ture show car.

  • How did you buy a car without actually seeing it before you got it? Are you retarded?

  • @spencersghost

LOL Thanks for the sympathy!! (now wouldn't you feel bad if I WAS 'mentally challenged'??)

    guess not.

  • @hatinnd When I used the term "retarded" in my comment, I obviously didn't mean it literally. If I thought there was a possibility that you were legitimately mentally handicapped, I wouldn't have said that. But the question still stands, how the fuck did you buy a car without seeing it first? I kind of think that if you're dumb enough to do that, you deserve to get ripped off. You shouldn't be making videos warning people about this guy, you should make videos advertising about idiots like you.

  • @spencersghost

lol Well, thank you! And you have a wonderful day!!

I'm sure Tommy Denics karma will get him, as will yours! :)

  • Thats a real shame, I would sue the shirt right off of his back.

  • Tommy Denic is STILL selling on Ebay. He's changed his ID but his cars are listed from PALATINE or CHICAGO ILL. BUYER BEWARE!!

  • you know that you can get him for advertisement fraud??? sue him and get all your money back..hell i would. just a thought.

  • although i did buy a my brother's '95 benz for $3,000 and didn't even bother to check for rust, which it has a bit of by the fender drain holes... oh well

  • who buys a car without seeing it in person?

  • lol, I know! I THOUGHT that since it was clearly advertised as a business and the description was in writing, that this type of fraud was illegal?? He's still selling cars on Ebay and in Palatine, Ill., so hopefully people can learn from my mistake. If you know of anyone looking for cars on the internet, please forward this to them!!

  • @hatinnd and i forgot to mention, ebay and paypal offer fraud protection

you just have to follow it up with them. i got my money back after filing a complaint against a bad ebay seller through paypal's complaint system

  • @InfinityDose

Unfortunately I didn't use Paypal to pay, and Ebay's 'fraud protection' is in itself a fraud. I notified them MANY times, beginning the first day I got the car. THEN they ignore all correspondence with a form letter saying "You didn't respond within the time allowed" about a dozen times. They sent me a final letter saying that "We won't be replying to you any longer". I still have the copies of the complaints that I sent and the confirmation that they were recieved!

  • this is still an amazing car

  • I feel pretty bad about you. I got a 79 400 T/A that had been parked for 15 years with 78,000 miles that runs like new, an d your "restored" T/A can't even idle. seems to me you could sue for false advertising.

  • Thank You for your reply and concern. Congrats on your TA though!! I'm working on a lawsuit, in the meantime I just want to warn as many people as I can about this fraudster.

Please copy and paste this link everywhere you think it would do any good.

  • Now Tommy Denic has offered me $1000.00 to just forget this whole 'misunderstanding'!! Think I should take it???

  • Tough break. I hope you'll be able to resolve this issue in your favor. I own a '78 T/A, and although it's no longer original, (due to a recent engine swap) it has NO rust and the floors and rockers are in excellent shape. Even then, I could never advertise the car the way yours was advertised, despite it being in much better shape. Good luck to you!

  • I think the only part of the car that looks pretty good are the snowflakes. I could not live with myself if I had sold someone a car that was in that bad of shape..unless they knew about it in the first place.

  • Want to sell it? ill buy it for you. 7,000 cash.

  • ok I meant to say martinique blue not mecan blue lol

  • Yeah that really sucks, people that scam are a special breed.... I just bought a 1978 TA (original mecan blue) I gave 2500 for mine, it had some fixing to do to it, but has original 70k miles, needs floors and stuff but body good, but it was open header so I could not hear the rod knocking in the engine, thats always nice.... Good luck with your car, looks great for a fixer upper but not really completely restored. Sorry for your bad luck.

  • Did you pay for the car before he did the work.

Myself i have refused to accept my car from repairers until im satisfied with the work.

  • I paid $12,400. WAY too much for a project car that's not a Special Edition.

  • If you don't mind me asking, how much did he charge you for the car?

  • suing you for what?

  • I'm not sure yet, I haven't gotten any papers. The dumbass doesn't realize that he can't sue me, because I've already filed fraud complaints against him.

  • Tommy Denic has just informed me that I AM BEING SUED??!! LOL

  • I hope that you sue him. Time to make HIM pay.

  • please, please

  • Man what a shame. That trunk looks the worst. Hate to see a car that has do much potential in that kind of shape.
