I never thought that Franklin Graham would be one of the American people who spreads bigotry, Islamophobia, and intolerance. I am a devout Christian and I am flabbergasted about his comments about Islam, and his comments about Obama! :(
@DisgustedDenise Nice try, DisgustingDenise. For if you were truly what you claim to be, then you would have actually addressed something FG said, rather than merely attack his person. Surely someone from CAIR, the MSA, or Muslim Brotherhood must be proud of your rhetoric, which is about as bigoted, Christophobic, and intolerant as anything they produce on a daily basis. So, once again, nice try, but the only person you managed to fool was yourself.
He is telling the thruth!!!100%the problem is if there is peacefull muslin, where are they that say nothing about the violent one's,even they enjoy freedom in america and europe to be a muslin,in a muslin country they kill a lot Christian with no sorry, some of them a burned a life,no matter if they are young or older, man or woman..Noboddy say nothing about it.
Tank's GOD for Franklin Graham's life..Let's all pray for him so GOD keep protecting him and using him,we all know that this is a spiritual war,GOD be with him, please pray for Franklin Graham..He is truly a man of GOD.
The bible tells you to beat your wife, kill your kids and so on. why dont he rip out those pages from the bible? Their is so much domestic violence by the christians in the usa, but ofcourse that not eh fault of the bible, BUT if a muslim does it well than its the Quran. CNN didnt even challenge him much, matter of fact after this talk the cnn talks to him about how he is helping kids. Also, just because muslims are killing muslims dont prove Islam is evil.
@gobuddyboy Where in the Bible does is say to beat one's wife? As for executing children, in what context is that given? Also, can you please explain the fundamental difference between OT Law and the NT Gospel? Finally, can you provide any data to back up your claim accusing Christians of all this domestic violence? It would appear that your whole argument supporting Islam is based on several fundamental fallacies. But, your response is anticipated to show otherwise.
@Derengowski I'm with you. I have never seen a group of Christians bury a woman to the hips then stone her to death then dance with glee. Or photos of Christians beheading a political captive. Or photos of Christians cutting the hands off of boys who have been merely accused of stealing a loaf of bread. Or killing their daughters because they disapproved of their friends or manner of dress.
Islam is NOT the religion of peace! No islam in US!
Christianity is the most violent of all religions. Just look at the crusades, the inquisition, disowning of homosexuals leading to suicide, and the unification of the concepts of God and nationalism in the United States and that ought to show you who you should fear.
@Derengowski First off, that assumes that all religions follow their holy book to the letter, which is 1) Obviously false to anyone who has checked and 2) impossible because there are contradictory teachings in all of these holy books. Second, it's cute and sentimental to focus on "beheadings" but in reality fundamentalist Christian belief in American imperialism has cost more lives at the hands of the military than any Muslim could hope to achieve. So maybe start working on a new body count?
@beta447 First off, you didn't answer the questions. Why? Because you know as soon as you did you would have rebutted yourself. Jesus executed no one, nor did he torture or commission the torture of anyone. Muhammad, on the hand, murdered, tortured, and commissioned the murder and torture of thousands, all by himself. Second, your red herring argument about American imperialism has nothing to do with biblical Christianity as led by the person of Jesus. Next time, stick to the subject.
@beta447 First, who ignored the question about Muhammad and Jesus? You did. Second, red herrings are not "connections"; they're diversions, meaning that they're also fallacies. Third, since your original premises are untrue, your overall argument is also invalid, namely that "Christianity is the most violent of all religions." Your descent into argumentum ad hominem is further proof of its invalidity. Therefore, unless you can come up with something better, this case is closed.
@thelolcrue Incorrect again. The Qur'an has no historical context, mainly because it was put together as a matter of emergency. That's why with the exception of first sura, each subsequent sura is shorter than the previous one. In other words, the Qur'an was put together according to length, not according to historical progression, like that found in the Bible. Anyway, you've clearly ignored answering the questions, so thanks for proving my case. Have a good life; it's going to be short.
@thelolcrue Spinning history to try and avoid the reality of what the Qur'an IS saying, especially when there is no historical context to the Qur'an, is nothing more than intellectual dishonesty. Clearly when the Qur'an speaks of killing the polytheists, it is speaking of anyone, including Christians, which is why we see the continued violence against Christians today at the hands of Muslims in foreign countries. Islam is not a friend to anyone and engaging in spin does not help your case.
@thelolcrue Don't be playing games. The subject wasn't killing; it was befriending. And it doesn't say anything about becoming "close friends." The Sura strictly forbids the Muslim from becoming a friend—at all! Now, if you want statements concerning killing the Jews and Christians, let me refer once again to 9.5 (which is also known as the "Verse of the Sword"), 9.29, 36, 123, 22.39, 60.1, and 98.6. In fact, Surah 98.6 places Jews and Christians in hell for their disbelief in Muhammad.
@thelolcrue Sura 5.51 says, "O you who believe! Take not Jews and the Christians as Auliya ("friends)…if any of you takes them as "friends" then surely, he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun ("polytheists"). So, once again, how is what you're saying consistent with what the Qur'an DOES say? As for James and Jesus, please, just give it up. You don't have any idea what the Bible teaches, so please don't be equating it with Muhammad or Islam.
@thelolcrue Which one of the questions you were asked said anything about that? You were asked, Where did Jesus ever say to befriend one's enemies, much less to take them into one's home if they are seeking refuge? Also, how is what you're saying about taking the Jews and Christians as friends consistent with Sura 5.51, which says not to? Please limit your responses to the questions and don't go the way of the red herring.
@thelolcrue Where did Jesus ever say to befriend one's enemies, much less to take them into one's home if they are seeking refuge? Also, how is what you're saying about taking the Jews and Christians as friends consistent with Sura 5.51, which says not to?
@thelolcrue No, that's not what the Bible says, and when the Qur'an defames Jesus and tells the reader to "Take not the Jews and Christians as Auliya (or "friends") (5.51), but rather to "kill the Mushrikun" (idolaters, polytheists, disbelievers) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush" (9.5), then while Jesus says to love one's enemies, what the Qur'an and Islam prescribe is hardly reciprocal.
real koran believing islam is all he says it is. stupid c.i.a. news people are agenda biased for downfall of america as predicted and worked for by freemason illuninati turds.
@zackrowe1 Conspiracy theories aside, the only way Islam will reign along with the downfall of America is if Almighty God allows it. And given the ever-increasing godlessness of America, as typified by the lukewarm attitudes of so many "Christians" who honor God with their lips, but their hearts are far, far away from Him, then no one should be in complete shock when/if that day should come. "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this we will reap also" (Gal. 6.7).
And America is OH so fortunate to have a "patriot" such as Franklin Graham lookinjg out for its best interests- a guy who, during the Vietnam War, had Daddy pull every possible string he could so that he wouldn't have to serve.
@Derengowski It certainly raises the question of from where you arrived at your "knowledge" of Islam. Like most Bible beaters, from Rev. Billy Bob down at the local First Church of the Gooey Death & Discount House of Worship, no doubt. After all, he IS a graduate of the Bugtussle Alabama School of the Bible and Transmission Repair..
@BenAliGtor So, in other words, attacking Franklin Graham changes nothing in regard to Islam's historically, doctrinally, and ethically violent religion. Thank you for that admission. Since that is the case, then, let me ask: Do you think attacking me, personally, changes Islam's historically, doctrinally, and ethically violent religion? I'm sure if you really, really, really think about it really, really, hard, you'll come to the same conclusion. Islam is a violent religion; deal with it.
@Derengowski now compare it to the number of acts christians have done in history which is triple what they have dione plus you are not that smart that these acts are not islam i have studied islam these guys are a false resprentation of what islam is. the problem is that the idiot media portrays them as vilians for personal gain
@nolove85es That's already been done, and just since 911 the Muslims have all the atrocities committed by "Christians" beaten hands down. And if the media has done anything in regards to Islam, it is to promote it.
And you couldn't be more wrong in terms of who the true Muslims are. For it's the Muslim who is willing to following the Qur'an and the Hadith to the letter, which includes all the murder and genocide that they prescribe, who are the true Muslims. It's not the one's who won't.
@Derengowski you obviously havent read the qu'ran. you are a typical individual trying to strike fear in peoples eyes and like it or not. christians have been the most corrupt from the spanish inquisition in latin america to the popes in history murdering ppl who did not want to convert to christianity and even when bush claimed he spoke to god and that god told him he needed to invade iraq and slutter innocent women and children when they had nothing to do with it.
@mancityjunkie And reading the Qur'an changes what when it comes to the mandate: Then when the Sacred Months have passed, then kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salat, and give Zakat, then leave their way free. Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Sura 9:5)?
Ooops, I guess I've read the Qur'an, otherwise, how did I come up with such a loving and "peaceful" quote?
@Derengowski wikipedia lmao. plus bible is more violent trust me and i bet you dont know what were the last words of the profit muhamad said about love. and oh yeah nice one with name calling on no love lol yeah thats was a good one. i like the peter pan part also lol
@mancityjunkie wikipedia? Have you been sucking in too much Saudi dust or something? As for the rest of your inane commentary, I think it pretty much speaks for itself.
"Narrated Anas bin Malik Allah's Apostle entered (Mecca) in the year of the Conquest of (Mecca) wearing a helmet over his head. After he took it off, a man came and said, "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'ba." The Prophet said, "Kill him."—Sahih al-Bukhari, 4.271.
@fasteddie847 Bye bye eddie. Since you can't seem to express yourself without vomiting up the usual amount of f-bombing lingo, then I'm just going to have to flush you back down the little sewer that you've slithered up out of, where all the rest of the Tootsie Roll heads are located. Maybe while you're swirling around down there with Muhammad, you'll discover that scatological language is nothing more than irrationalism mixed with hydrogen sulfide: a very smelly proposition unwelcome here.
@fasteddie847 fasteddie, when you learn how to communicate intelligibly, minus all the four-letter expletives, then your message might actual be deemed suitable for consumption by the general public. Until then, may I suggest a heart transplant for your soul and a bar of soap for your mouth.
15,000 terrorism threats? Thats nothing compared to gang violence eveyday in LA county. I dont see Muslims going to Thailand or Vietnam like older American Men do to have sex with little girls! Over 10,000 new inmates processed everyday into jail in this Christian country! A woman dies every 14 seconds in our Christian Country!!! You dont call those threats Deren? What do you call them? Ow ya just ask for forgiveness, repent, get salvation and then you can repeat it all over again
@PriddyTP "Goof ball," none of the things you've mentioned have anything to do with Christianity. And that's the whole point I keep making, and you keep affirming through your "goof ball" responses. Whereas, the 15,000+ crimes against humanity were all done in the name of Islam, or the very thing you keep willfully missing. Hopefully one day you'll eventually get your thinking straight before one of these Muslim terrorists intentionally removes your head and you become the next victim.
@Derengowski "BREAKING NEWS FOR NUTTY PROFFESOR" I am 41 and have yet to be harmed by any Muslims? However in my lifetime I cant begin to count the times Christians have lied, stolen, used drugs, hurt me and my family , men I've known to committ adultry, the list goes on Deren. Are you in Denial? If you are therapy is available at a sliding scale..Ow Ya you have Christian Counselors available dont you? So even after you repent, get salvation you can still even seek counseling..Thats awseome!
@PriddyTP You're still equivocating, which means (1) you're still committing a logical fallacy, and (2) you aren't paying attention. Add to that the fallacy of ad hominem, and I think it goes without saying that you've conceded the argument. So, given that I've addressed this fallacy of yours several times now, unless you show improvement in your next reply, then it will in all likelihood end up in the YouTube zone where no one will either know, or care, that you've written. Have a good life.
@PriddyTP Well, good thing you weren't in the World Trade Center or the Pentagon. And good thing you aren't a young girl who decides to no longer be a Muslim, and therefore, did not become the victim of an "honor killing". If you had been, you wouldn't be here telling us how you haven't been harmed by the Muslim religion.
@DSHinNC1969 Exactly. How convenient the vision of these defenders of treachery are when recalling the actual events of history and the doctrines they hold are brought to light. It's just too bad that a secular society tainted by the delusion of "political correctness" will not listen to the truth about this oppressive and tyrannical religion called "Islam." Little do those adhere to such a relative worldview realize that suppressing the truth will cost them their lives one day.
What part of I said I understand the video don't you get nutty proffesor? What part of I said Christians are no better don't you understand nutty proffessor. The Quron may invoke violence which I don't condone however unlike Christians who ask for forgiveness over and over again so they can keep doing it is that how it works?
Listen goof ball carefully........Yes this video is about Grahams statement about Islamic violence . I get that over and over again. Now understand my statement to you. Christians are no better.......Can you understand that? Or will you respond again like a broken record. Repeating over and over and over. Now go do something bad repent and ask God for forgiveness that's how it works isn't it?
@PriddyTP Sorry, "goof ball," but there haven't been over 15,000 acts of terrorism committed in the name of Christianity since 9/11. On the other hand, there have been over 15,000 acts of terrorism committed in the name of Islam. Also, a simply check of history will show that Jesus Christ himself never killed or harmed anyone, nor did he teach his followers to do either. Yet, Muhammad not only beheaded upwards of 900 innocent Jews all by himself, but he commanded his followers to follow suit.
@PriddyTP Only "goof ball" if you stick the subject, and quit your equivocating. For there is no comparison between Christianity and Islam. In the former we're told, "for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword" (Mt. 26:52). In the latter we're told, "then kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush" (Sura 9:5). It's a big difference that "goof balls," such as yourself need to quit denying.
Your holy book has two testaments. Dismissing one and relying on the other is tantamount to saying that Hitler wasn't so bad because he built the Autobahn. The Old Testament is half of the silly narrative that you cling to, and it reigns down death upon humanity for the smallest infraction.
@TCNill No one has dismissed anything. What is being defended here is context. Christians do not live under the OT economy, and the NT cannot be equated to Islam, since it does not prescribe the maiming and murdering of people who do not believe. Moreover, while persons such as yourself want to pick-n-choose OT narratives where OT Israel was commanded to destroy the wicked, by doing so you conveniently leave out the context answering the question "Why?" So, you're attack is unwarranted.
@intermediatespecies The only ones to whom it is questionable are those who don't know their Bibles and are trying to confuse the subject. For there are zero references in the NT prescribing or commanding Christians (not OT Israel) to maim, rape, or kill anyone. Yet, there are scores of references in both the Qur'an and Hadith prescribe that the Muslim do those very things (2.244; 8.39; 9.5, 73; 22.39; 60.1; 98.6; Bukhari 3.34.310; 4.52.53. 196, 269, 392 are only a small sampling).
Deren, I have asserted with examples that those suscribing toChristianity are just as capable of violence as those who adhere to Islam, and that Christian holy texts promote violence even beyond that of the Qur'an. Now as to Islam being a violent religion, again, you fail to see that only a small percentage of Muslims twist the aith and use it to promote violence.
@intermediatespecies No one ever denied that Christians are capable of violence. But to be comparing basic Christian beliefs with those of Islam is to be comparing apples to oranges. Nowhere in the Bible is the Christian commanded to kill or torture anyone. Yet, as I've already referenced in Sura 9:5 of the Qur'an, reference after reference not only demands violence against unbelievers, it is encouraged and rewarded. And it is irrelevant how many Muslims participate; it is still commanded.
You know nothing of my biblical knowledge. Furthermore it is your vacous knowledge of both books that suggest your erudition towards these faiths is lacking. I can cite many bible verses where your lord god urges the Israelite to smite various tribes and peoples and to take their women to rape and keep as concubines. If you would like to I can start citing verse after verse. Your book calls for as much killing of non-believers as does the Qur'an.
@intermediatespecies Sorry, but, once again, this particular thread is about Islamic violence; not whatever proof texts you think you can cull from the Bible to try and equate God, Christianity, or Christians with Islamic terrorism. In fact, the whole offer to equivocate what God commanded the Israelites to do to the pagans, or what Jesus is going to do in the days ahead to the wicked, with what Muhammad prescribed and involved himself with personally, is a fallacy of the worst order.
I don't know which Qur'an you are reading, but Muslims like Christians practice their faiths for the most part without buying into the nonsensical conclusions that many make about what is written. That goes for the Bible and the Qur'an. Muslim and Christian scholars downplay or ignore much of the nonsense found within these so called holy books. You won't kill me because I defy scripture and pick up sticks on th so called sabbath, now will you????
@intermediatespecies You're too funny. You're so caught up in your hatred of Christians that you can't see straight. For there is only Qur'an, and it makes it perfectly clear that that maiming and killing the infidel is prescribed. Just take a look at Sura 9:5, which is often called the Verse of the Sword. "Then when the Sacred Months have passed, then kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them..." And what you know about the Bible is equally vacuous.
These guys can twist their so called faith any which way they chose just to justify their behavior. It is no different than Christian anti choice folks who kill doctors in the US. Radical interpretations of Islam may draw in potential terrorists however that is hardly what this fight is about. They want the US out
@intermediatespecies Actually, that is not true. For all one has to do is pick up the Qur'an, the Hadiths, or the Sunnah (or listen to the Imams and Mullahs in primarily Islamic countries), and it is crystal clear that what Islam prescribes is what the Hassan-types are carrying out. In other words, the norm for the Muslim is to act just like Muhammad did, and that is to maim, kill, and destroy, because that's what he did. The "radical" Muslim is the one who fails to imitate Muhammad.
Violence in the name of Islam is hardly perpetrated by the faith. Even someone like yourself who resides outside the realm of reason would realize that.
@intermediatespecies So, when an Islamic terrorist commits an act of violence, and cites the Islamic sources which compelled him to act (e.g. Nidal Hassan's copious quoting from the Qur'an and Hadiths), then his Islamic faith is not responsible for helping to perpetrate his senseless act? If so, then just exactly what motivated the Islamic terrorist to act? The Saturday morning cartoons? A bad flavor of Braum's ice cream? Crickets chirping too loudly? What?
Critical thought? Free inquiry? Reason? All are foreign to people like you. In fact you appear to be so pathetic that you censure this site. At least fellow atheists won't kill you for believing differently than you do.
Someone else's allegations? You are a tool. Billy Graham's anti semite remarks are on the tapes. Now who is pulling back from critical thought? America will be victorious when such superstitious bigots hold no influence over the citizenry. I am ashamed that the current president would even sit down and talk with such people.
Now, if you really want to crawl out of that hole you reside in, you would find that the United States has killed, slaughtered or has been responsible for more in the past 20 years than any other govt or group. That is violence to the extreme. Remember Falluja in 04? 600 elderly women and young children who couldn't get out were blown to smithereens by US airstrikes. Just one of many examples for you
Der, Your problem is that you claim the religion to be more violent than your own. History suggests otherwise. As to you and the bigots that you idolize, I fail to see why you cant use a little reasoning ability to conclude that a small percentage of the Islamic faithful use the religion to further their aims. Chriswtianity has it's share of violent characters as well
Deg, Yes, I am really concerned about a lunatic like yourself whose knowledge of Franklin Graham does not include his father's bigotry, and his generalized attacks on another deluded faith like his own. Check out the Nixon tapes and find out the vile things Billy Graham said about Jews. I am not a fan of Israeli policies in the occupied territories, however I would never make such statements.
@intermediatespecies No thanks, not interested in chasing down someone else's allegations, especially when they have nothing to do with the subject here, which is Islamic violence. So, until you address that reality, which is easily documented by simply picking up a newspaper or doing a casual perusal of Google news, then it's likely that no one will hear from you again until you do. Have a wonderful, Franklin Graham, day. ;-)
You are unfamiliar with the anti semitic rants by Billy Graham? These are documented on the Nixon tapes. As to the US and Chrisian foundations, you will find that our founders were mostly deists, and the key documents are quite secular. I pity you that you spend too much of your life praying that some celestial dictatorship in the sky will transition you to where you can chase down winged angel babes two at a time. Civilized society has no place for such nonsense.
@intermediatespecies Once again, this video is not about Billy Graham, the Jews, Richard Nixon, or whatever else might be floating through your cranial cavity at any given moment. It is about the "violent religion" of Islam. So, if no one hears from you again, then it will be because you're not addressing the subject. In other words, this thread has no place for such nonsense as what you're spewing here
i'm so sick of these religious leaders, who like politicians, say one thing to their followers, then a give completely toned down, boarding on a lying, version to those who question the veracity of those statement (i.e. huckabee).
graham is a twerp living in the shadow of & capitalizing on his father's name & financial security.
the guy's not a christian under any circumstance. he's an ignorant, lying bigot of the 1st order. those that listen to him are as ignorant & bigoted as he.
@wntoply6 Sorry, but the video is about Franklin Graham and Islamic violence, not Mike Huckabee. And the last time I looked, Franklin Graham was living on his own, doing his own ministry, and Billy Graham's fortunes didn't make the Forbes one-million list. As for FG being a Christian, that's for God to ultimately determine, and those, such as yourself, who engage in the kind of attempted character assassination that you are, are definitely not demonstrating Christian character at all.
Graham, along with his bigoted father have no place in the American narrative. They are evil men who tell lies to the young, and do their best to try to convince Americans that our country is based on their silly faith
@intermediatespecies Billy Graham, a bigot? Wow! And the United States is not based on the Judeo-Christian ethic? Again, wow! I'm not sure where you received your education (I'll guess Cal-Berkley, right?), or what planet you've been living on for the most part of your life, so all I'll say is welcome to earth. Hope you enjoy your stay, but be careful. Too many outlandish comments tend to discredit oneself on earth. So, don't sell your hovel back home, wherever that truly is.
I have addressed Frankilin Grahams comments on numerous occasions. I suggest you look up ad hominen and logical fallacy for your own development. You are well aware that those using religion as a tool to recruit fellow fighters should hardly represent the faith. Graham said that the Muslims have killed so many since 911. I countered that with a factual statement about Western powers.
@intermediatespecies LOL...You haven't addressed Graham here, though. All I see is another "lets kill the messenger, and forget the message" type of post, which is typical of those whose own personal ideology is both guilty and vacuous. And the only ones I'm aware of that actively recruit for the express purpose of maiming and murdering the innocent is the "violent religion" that Franklin Graham speaks of, which is Islam.
Franklin Graham is not someone who should hold anyone's attention but those who are deluded with little more than their weak and tiny minds at their disposal.
@intermediatespecies And of course with a screen name like "intermediate species," you are someone who should hold everyone's attention, you're not deluded, and you have a deep-seated intellect at your disposal. All of these things you possess, and never actually addressed anything Graham had to say. You do realize that you've managed to commit a logical fallacy, like so many seem to do, by defaming the messenger without addressing the message. It's called ad hominem. Look it up sometime.
Yet it is the armies of the Western so called "Christian " nations that have killed the most people since 911, further, no religion comes close to the killing and murderous history of Christianity
@intermediatespecies And here I thought you possessed this great intellect, and within two posts you've displayed just the opposite. Not only did you fail to address Graham's comments, now you're committing the fallacy of hasty generalization. For the armies taking out the Muslim thugs in Iraq and Afghanistan have nothing to do with the Christian message. Conversely, we see one nut after another bringing the message of Muslim "love" to America. You really need to get your facts straight.
What happen Deren? I posted 4 more responces . Did you block them or file a complaint with you tube. Is this what a good Christian is suppose to do .....Please forgive me Deren please....Ya right. I don't have any fancy smancy degrees like you, whatya afraid of...,,Go evolve Deren and feed your crap to other suckers!!!!!
I'll tell you one thing Deren I don't hear any reports of Muslim religious leaders getting accused of molesting and poking little boys in the rear end around the world because they will instantly die!!! Unlike your faith where the preacher is relocated to the Parish Of St "SShhhhhhh!!!!
@PriddyTP No, we just have over 15,000 reports of terrorism committed by those subscribing to the tenets of Islam since 9/11, that's all. Again, if you want to make specious comparisons, then you must bear the brunt of the consequences when arguing fallaciously.
I'm trying to figure out where I said anything about Islam evolving Derengowski? Many things you can put in my mouth but words is not one of them. I was pointing out to my fellow Christians that Christianity is far from evolved just a friendly reminder I never said Islam was evolved I'm not that ignorant. Furthermore All items I listed where not just directed at Californians I meant the good old entire USA. So go help Christians in prison who slaughtered their families.
@PriddyTP First of all, I don't believe that you're a Christian, given your libelous (if not scatological) comments concerning Franklin Graham. Second, in case you've missed it, this particular part of YouTube has been set up and developed by me. You have attempted (rather poorly) to make Islam look as if it has evolved, and I have countered your attacks by asking for something other than fallacious argumentation. If you can't handle the challenge, then maybe you should just move on.
@Derengowski Geeez...you give me a lot of credit and throw in a SCATOLOGICAL and Libelous I have no clue what your saying but it sounds interesting. Thanks. Again I'm just pointing out as a friendly reminder that Christianity has not evolved either or has it? Ow maby the religion has but the members havent. It does not matter to me what you think I am I dont give meaning to meaningless things like you. I think I pinched a nerve nice.
havent read the Quran ever. However based on what you said it sounds like Muslims arent hippocrtites then and do one thing when their religion preaches something else like Christianity. Ow ya Christians can committ adultry then repent and ask for forgiveness and everything is okay unlike Islam where swift punishemnt is adhered to so it wont happen again. Instead of buying a bike I can steal one then ask God for forgiveness? Christians should get academy awards
@PriddyTP Thank you for making my case that you're not a Christian. And once again, if you're going to argue that Islam has evolved, then it would be in your best interest to at least pick up the Qur'an and peruse through it. Moreover, it would behoove you to give up on the fallacious '72 Pinto station wagon argument that I pointed out to you before. It didn't work then, it won't work now. Either give us definitive evidence that Islam has evolved or simply concede the point and move on.
@Derengowski Never have I said Islam has evolved goof ball? Put on your reading glasses stop puffing on the joint put down the vodka! Geeeez I am pointing out that Christianity has a long way to go and you being a follower of Christ student of the bible should remember that ! Again I'm just saying without fancy words practice what you preach and attempt to teach. Your no better than Islam.
The most profitable business on the internet (Pornography) The most populated prisons in the world (USA). Education per child in school $8.000/Per inmate in prison early $75.000. Huge homeless problems in urban cities. Pedophiles kidnapping little girls and killing them. Huge Prostitution. Addiction destroying families and preachers molesting boys...And you say Islam has not evolved? What an ass....
@PriddyTP Once again, pointing out the deficiencies of something or someone does not mean that Islam has evolved. Your argument is no different than saying that because a person's '72 Pinto station wagon is on its last leg, or no longer runs, then Islam has evolved. The only way to show that Islam has evolved is by giving specific examples. And since you haven't given any, then your conclusion is faulty, because your premises are faulty as well.
What a moron Franklin is. In the state of California Domestic Violence happens every 7 seconds. Are Catholic Churches are filled with preachers who like to have sex with little boys. Are prisons are filled with so called Christians who are wife beaters, drug dealers, perverts and pedophiles. Kids are exsposed to pornography!! What planet or what drug are you smoking Franklin?
@PriddyTP Again, you're arguing apples and oranges. Just because California or wherever is involved in all kinds of immoral activity does not mean that Christianity prescribes or condones it. In fact, Christianity condemns those things. Islam, on the other hand, prescribes wife beating, maiming and murdering of Jews and Christians, lying when it's convenient, adultery through polygamy, etc. So, once again, there's a big difference between what you're arguing and what Graham is saying.
what muslims cant handle the truth. beheadings, stonings treating women like shit , killing christians and jews, honor killings etc. Thats what islam is all about.
@Josephandalice What planet do you live on is it the same I do? Its called DOMESTIC VIOLENCE in this country moron. Our Prisons are filled up with wife beaters, drug dealers, perverts. Our churches are filled with Catholic Preachers who have sex with little boys. We've got the highest population of prisoners in the world filled up with so called Christians!!! We give the death penalty also. Your an idiot and ignorant.
@WorldIslamicOrder "APOSTASY FROM ISLAM (RIDDA) (o8.1 When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed"—Reliance of the Traveller: A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, 595.
Now, who said that Islam was not a religion of compulsion? But, then again, I guess when a person dies at the hand of a Muslim's sword, then he no longer feels compelled to believe or disbelieve. That's clever, but not very honorable or truthful either.
@WorldIslamicOrder "Narrated Anas bin Malik Allah's Apostle entered (Mecca) in the year of the Conquest of (Mecca) wearing a helmet over his head. After he took it off, a man came and said, "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'ba." The Prophet said, "Kill him"—Sahih al-Bukhari, 4.280.
So, if Muhammad wasn't killing people on his own, he ordered his henchmen to kill them as well? Now, what was this about Islam being a peaceful religion?
@WorldIslamicOrder "But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every strategem [sic] (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise [sic] regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful"—Sura 9:5.
Slay the Pagans? Seize them? Beleaguer them? And Islam is a not a "violent religion? Who are you trying to kid?
@WorldIslamicOrder "You will find others that wish to have security from you and security from their people. Every time they are sent back to temptation, they yield thereto. If they withdraw not from you, nor offer you peace, nor restrain their hands, take (hold of) them and kill them wherever you find them. In their case, We have provided you with a clear warrant against them"—Sura 4:91.
Kill them wherever you find them? Now, what were you saying about me learning from Franklin Graham?
@WorldIslamicOrder Sorry, but unless you can show anywhere in Scripture (i.e. the Bible) where what you've written is prescribed, then all you've done is commit libel against Christianity in the name of Islam.
Oh, and btw, taking on a pseudonym like WorldIslamicOrder pretty much says it all in terms of what Franklin Graham, world history, and the present Muslim mindset when it comes to TORTURE, SLAVERY, SEGREGATION, DISCRIMINATION, STEALING, ETC. Way to go by incriminating yourself. ;-)
CAIR or the Council on American Islamic Relations seems disingenuous for INCREDIBLE abuse toward Muslim women continues and Muslim clerics seem to do NOTHING to stop it.
On CAIR I would highly recommend P. David Gaubatz's book "Muslim Mafia," which does an excellent job of exposing CAIR for the terrorist organization that it is, as spin-off group of the Muslim Brotherhood.
@Derengowski Thank you! All religions have violent histories but we're supposed to know better, by now. I think Islam must have been hijacked by extremists. It has to get better.
@JHJennings Actually JHJennings, whenever we see a Muslim go out and commit an act of terror, that is the Islamic norm. Muhammad led the way, when he was alive by murdering, maiming, and torturing people. It's all over the Qur'an and the Hadiths. And what we see with CAIR and the nuts that are trying to defame Franklin Graham is simply another byproduct of what was started in the 7th century. So, nothing has been hijacked when a Muslim commits an act of terror. That's normal Islam!
@Derengowski Well, of course, while you may feel that way, you MUST be incorrect or we would have routine, rampant violence among Muslims in the USA and we do not. There has to be a difference between ordinary Muslims and extremists. EVERY religion has a past that concerns violence against "infidels" but, eventually, that gets resolved.
There is no difference between those doing the murdering and real Islam. And the only reason one doesn't see systematic murders, beheadings, and mutilations in the United States is because the U.S. is not under Sharia Law. And you are incorrect as far as the violent treatment of infidels in all religions. Christianity does not instruct anyone to indiscriminately murder those who disagree with its doctrines. Islam does, though, against both nonbelievers and apostates in the Quran and Hadith.
@Derengowski How do you explain that there are quite a few muslim soldiers who are valiantly defending the USA? They are not all like the murderer at Ft. Hood. These are real military heros and we are indebted to them. I think you may be an extremist yourself.
@JHJennings I explain it by pointing out that none of them are following the tenets of Islam as they should. In fact, if they were, then they would be acting exactly like Nidal Hassan acted at Fort Hood, by killing as many American soldiers and citizens as possible, for their opposition to the ways of Islam.
@Derengowski I don't know my Old Testament well enough to give examples but I do know there are some pretty awful things said in it, some of which threaten women! We choose to interpret Christian gospel loosely and we distort the literal translations, just as many Muslims do the Koran. All religions evolve. However extremists stop that evolution and become dictators and madmen. That's what's wrong with Islam.
@JHJennings Well, I teach OT & NT at the college level, as well as World Religions, and I can assure you that what you've written here is pure propaganda that you've probably heard from elsewhere. Once again, there are zero prescriptions in the Christian faith which tells Christians to go out and murder or maim the infidel. There are zero prescriptions telling Christians to make the nonbeliever pay the poll tax. Those things are encouraged in Islam, and it has nothing to do with extremism.
@Derengowski I'm sure you know more than I but I know of the Crusades and I know ALL religions evolve. Islam has not evolved, is full of severe and brutal beliefs, and is very "rough around the edges" but there are peace-loving Muslims. Someday, they will run the religion. Until then, we must fight against Islamic violence in the name of Allah.
@JHJennings Well, the Crusades were actually the result of the Muslim invasion. Nevertheless, you're are correct that Islam has not evolved, but I disagree that the so-called "peace-loving Muslims" will rule it one day. Finally, the fight against Islam cannot be done in the name of Allah, given that Allah is an idol. And idols do not exist in reality, but are the mere figments of human imagination. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and any battle to be won will be in himalone.
@Derengowski That is your belief. My belief is that Christianity is based on faith, not hard evidence. i take comfort from some Christian traditions and I like the Judeo-Christian traditions, for the most part. Wasn't it Moliere who said, "if God didn't exist, we would have invented him, anyway." ? I believe that. We need to believe in something larger than ourselves. I believe in the need.
@JHJennings No, it's not merely my belief, as if my belief is separated from fact. It is fact as substantiated by the evidence. Jesus was a real, living, breathing human being, who was also God incarnate, as evidenced by the works that he performed that only God could do. Allah, on the other hand, once again, is an idol. "It' is the product of Muhammad's acceptance of Christian heresies floating around during his day, as he attempted to overthrow the idolatry he did not like. Such irony.
@Derengowski Nonetheless, your faith is based on belief, not on evidence. Jesus is believed by some to have been God and whatever teachings came from him and his disciples seem to be great teachings. However, though I was brought up as an Episcopalian, I'm a supporter, not a believer. I think faith and belief are important but I think we believe most in our parents.
@JHJennings Sorry, but what you're trying to do is separate belief from reason, and that is totally unreasonable. Jesus and his disciples were real, living beings, who performed real living miracles while walking the earth. That would include the resurrection, which Paul bases the whole Christian religion upon. My suggestion is that you abandon the secularist philosophy of segregating faith from reason, otherwise you will continue to make one self-refuting comment after another.
@Derengowski Belief involves choice. Reason is absolute. Things either are or they are not. Believe, if you wish but I choose not to. I like Christian traditions but I believe neither Christian nor Islamic doctrine. Frankly, if I had to choose, I would first be a Jew but that, too, even that is more than I can believe in.
@JHJenning Sorry, but reason is only as absolute as the foundation upon which is it based. In fact, some relativists think that they're being reasonable, until it is pointed out just how unreasonable their reason is, due to the absolute lack of an objective basis for believing what they believe. And you say that thing are or they're not, but without a standard beyond subjective "choice," even that conclusion doesn't make any sense. It can't answer the simple question "why?" Jesus did though.
@JHJennings Islam has not evolved? Ya Christianity sure has...Im glad our prisons are empty. Im Glad we won the war on drugs. I'm glad theirs no more domestic violence. I'm glad Pornography isnt permitted on the internet. I'm glad Preachers dont molest little boys anymore. Im glad their are no more homeless people suffering in big cities. Im glad little girls arent kidnapped and stuffed in bags anymore....Your an ass
@PriddyTP And attacking Christianity means that Islam has evolved? I'm failing to see the connection. Wouldn't it actually be better to show how Islam has evolved by citing specific instances, than by fallaciously aligning societal ills with Christianity?
@Derengowski You can put a lot of things in my mouth but words isnt one of them. Im not attacking just pointing out that Chritianity is far from perfect my friend just a friendly reminder.
@Derengowski ,,what scares me most about CAIR is the fact that they have the blessings of our own government, it (CAIR) should be banned and not allowed to conduct any bussiness, they hate us, all they want is for our country to fall, just like obama
fancyfred, since you obviously can't seem to take a hint, and now you want to get threatening about it, then you you will no longer be allow to send messages at all, period. Have a good, long, miserable life breathing your threatenings, misrepresentations, slanders and libels to those who are duped enough to find them persuasive. I, on the other hand ,am not persuaded, have told you more than once that such garbage will not be tolerated. So, buh bye.
fancyfred, again, you're wasting your time if you think you're going to attack anyone personally, in manner that you have, and not address the contents of the video. My suggestion is that you go find something else to do, like try to understand why your religion promotes violence, and how that violent streak ends up in your posting habits. Oh, and if there's any question about what you're writing, and someone really wants to know, the messages have been preserved for future reference.
fancyfred, I'm not going to allow you to engage in libel and defamation of Franklin Graham as your defense of Islam being anything other than a "violent religion." Now, if you want to address Islam's inherently violent characteristics, great. But, attacking the messenger, while disregarding the message, is known as ad hominem, and I will not put up with it. And you're wasting your time trying to post here if you think I will.
I like this video. Rev Graham is speaking the truth about Islam. Islam is a violent cult created by mohammed. Islam is a racist cult against jews and others who is not willing to receive its teaching. If you dont believe what I say pls read the quuran I have done that. That is why all the muslim countries hate jews and christians. In most muslim countries you will get punishment if a muslim converts to christianity, death penalty in Iran and Saudi Arabia.
islam is equality. islam is a solution to racism. most of the crimes of the world have been commied by the Christians. for example, its christians who discriminate blacks, who killed 6 million Jewish innocents, and colonizing African people and raping and taking their resources. so dont tell me ur religion is a good one. all this taking is nonsens. point fingers at ur self before u point it at someone else.
Actually, Islam is about lying, and you've presented a classic case of it right here. Islam is about submission, and that by force, if necessary. And all the crap you're spewing about Christians murdering, raping, and pillaging is just that: crap. Just peruse a few videos here a YouTube and see just how many Christians are doing as you suggest. Then compare the number of Muslim videos where out-in-out murder is routinely recorded. So, thanks for a classic example blatant lying for Allah.
@Derengowski you know nothing about islam bro you probably never met a muslim before trust me you are displaying hate and trust me you accusing every muslim individual as a terrorist that is flat out hate and discrimination. trust me christianity has destroyed more lives and that hurts to say cuz i am of christian faith im just ignorant and display hate and lies about islam
@nolove85es You're too funny "nolove" (what an appropriate screen name), taking the usual tack that most of your type do when you can't address the subject: you attack the messenger instead. The fact is, I have not only sat down and discussed Islam with some of the local imams, I have Muslim students attend the classes that I teach. As for you libel against Christianity, more people have been killed at the hands of Muslim terrorists since 911 than all the "Christian" atrocities in its history.
@Derengowski yes that is my youtube name and that was the dumbest and lamest insult your probably just a typical idiot from an evengelical church who do nothing but preach hate you are promoting this for to hate muslims and dont act like there has not been any good muslims. trust me malcolm x was an example plus how come of the neo nazis and kkk leaders have been pastors rev's and fundamentalist christians trust me how come the faith of islam is growing so fast
@nolove85es Insult? You're the one who picked your own screen name, not me. I was simply applauding your choice, given the numerous "no love" comments you've made here. Good job! I couldn't agree more.
Regardless of Malcom X, the neo-Nazis, or Peter Pan for that matter, the fact is your previous comments were rebutted, and you have nothing to say, other than to level another barrage of personal insults. Typical. Yet you also think this someone proves Islam as something wholesome and true?
i cant belive this guy is a religious leader. he is such narrow minded person.he should take time and talk about his own record of abusing blacks, native americans and colonialization of African countries. islam didnt discriminate any race or colonize to robe natural resources. .
You're right, habib. When Muhammad's caliphs went on their rampage across the Middle East, North Africa, and into Asia, they didn't discriminate whatsoever. It was either submit or die, regardless of who or what the persons was. And the trend continues to today. On 9/11 the Muslim hijackers didn't care what a person was race-wise. They just flew the planes into the towers and killed as many innocent people as possible. Same thing at Ft. Hood. Guess you never thought about that, did you?
It whatever dumbasses! You and Franklin Graham are provoking violent to any religion. That how you brainwash me growing up and motherfuckers you are the terrorists working the KKK!
Normally I don't approve comments that are filled with the kind of scatological lingo and mean-spirited bravado that you've demonstrated in your response. But, for this one time I think is serves to show just who possesses the terroristic and murderous mindset when it comes to differentiating between Christian beliefs and Muslim beliefs. Thank you for serving as the example of the latter. May God have mercy on your blinded soul should you fail to repent of your erroneous ways.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Muslim Iraq fought a war against its neighbor, Muslim Iran in which over 1 million Muslim men died at the hands of other Muslims. Islam has proven to be violent against everyone including other Muslims.
I never thought that Franklin Graham would be one of the American people who spreads bigotry, Islamophobia, and intolerance. I am a devout Christian and I am flabbergasted about his comments about Islam, and his comments about Obama! :(
DisgustedDenise 2 days ago

Also, just because muslims are killing muslims dont prove Islam is evil.
gobuddyboy 3 weeks ago
@gobuddyboy Where in the Bible does is say to beat one's wife? As for executing children, in what context is that given? Also, can you please explain the fundamental difference between OT Law and the NT Gospel? Finally, can you provide any data to back up your claim accusing Christians of all this domestic violence? It would appear that your whole argument supporting Islam is based on several fundamental fallacies. But, your response is anticipated to show otherwise.
Derengowski 3 weeks ago
@Derengowski I'm with you. I have never seen a group of Christians bury a woman to the hips then stone her to death then dance with glee. Or photos of Christians beheading a political captive. Or photos of Christians cutting the hands off of boys who have been merely accused of stealing a loaf of bread. Or killing their daughters because they disapproved of their friends or manner of dress.
Islam is NOT the religion of peace! No islam in US!

Christianity is the most violent of all religions. Just look at the crusades, the inquisition, disowning of homosexuals leading to suicide, and the unification of the concepts of God and nationalism in the United States and that ought to show you who you should fear.
beta447 10 months ago
@beta447 Question, beta: Who beheaded the most people in his lifetime or commissioned the torture and murder of the same? Muhammad or Jesus?
If you really want to judge a religion, look at the founder and his teachings, not necessarily the people claiming to follow him.
Derengowski 10 months ago
@Derengowski First off, that assumes that all religions follow their holy book to the letter, which is 1) Obviously false to anyone who has checked and 2) impossible because there are contradictory teachings in all of these holy books. Second, it's cute and sentimental to focus on "beheadings" but in reality fundamentalist Christian belief in American imperialism has cost more lives at the hands of the military than any Muslim could hope to achieve. So maybe start working on a new body count?
beta447 10 months ago
@beta447 First off, you didn't answer the questions. Why? Because you know as soon as you did you would have rebutted yourself. Jesus executed no one, nor did he torture or commission the torture of anyone. Muhammad, on the hand, murdered, tortured, and commissioned the murder and torture of thousands, all by himself. Second, your red herring argument about American imperialism has nothing to do with biblical Christianity as led by the person of Jesus. Next time, stick to the subject.
Derengowski 10 months ago 4
@Derengowski If you're too ignorant to understand the connections, nothing will help you. I'm right, you're wrong, no matter what. Sound familiar?
beta447 10 months ago
@beta447 First, who ignored the question about Muhammad and Jesus? You did. Second, red herrings are not "connections"; they're diversions, meaning that they're also fallacies. Third, since your original premises are untrue, your overall argument is also invalid, namely that "Christianity is the most violent of all religions." Your descent into argumentum ad hominem is further proof of its invalidity. Therefore, unless you can come up with something better, this case is closed.
Derengowski 10 months ago 2
@thelolcrue Incorrect again. The Qur'an has no historical context, mainly because it was put together as a matter of emergency. That's why with the exception of first sura, each subsequent sura is shorter than the previous one. In other words, the Qur'an was put together according to length, not according to historical progression, like that found in the Bible. Anyway, you've clearly ignored answering the questions, so thanks for proving my case. Have a good life; it's going to be short.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@thelolcrue Spinning history to try and avoid the reality of what the Qur'an IS saying, especially when there is no historical context to the Qur'an, is nothing more than intellectual dishonesty. Clearly when the Qur'an speaks of killing the polytheists, it is speaking of anyone, including Christians, which is why we see the continued violence against Christians today at the hands of Muslims in foreign countries. Islam is not a friend to anyone and engaging in spin does not help your case.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@thelolcrue Don't be playing games. The subject wasn't killing; it was befriending. And it doesn't say anything about becoming "close friends." The Sura strictly forbids the Muslim from becoming a friend—at all! Now, if you want statements concerning killing the Jews and Christians, let me refer once again to 9.5 (which is also known as the "Verse of the Sword"), 9.29, 36, 123, 22.39, 60.1, and 98.6. In fact, Surah 98.6 places Jews and Christians in hell for their disbelief in Muhammad.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@thelolcrue Sura 5.51 says, "O you who believe! Take not Jews and the Christians as Auliya ("friends)…if any of you takes them as "friends" then surely, he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun ("polytheists"). So, once again, how is what you're saying consistent with what the Qur'an DOES say? As for James and Jesus, please, just give it up. You don't have any idea what the Bible teaches, so please don't be equating it with Muhammad or Islam.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@thelolcrue Which one of the questions you were asked said anything about that? You were asked, Where did Jesus ever say to befriend one's enemies, much less to take them into one's home if they are seeking refuge? Also, how is what you're saying about taking the Jews and Christians as friends consistent with Sura 5.51, which says not to? Please limit your responses to the questions and don't go the way of the red herring.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@thelolcrue Where did Jesus ever say to befriend one's enemies, much less to take them into one's home if they are seeking refuge? Also, how is what you're saying about taking the Jews and Christians as friends consistent with Sura 5.51, which says not to?
Derengowski 1 year ago
@thelolcrue No, that's not what the Bible says, and when the Qur'an defames Jesus and tells the reader to "Take not the Jews and Christians as Auliya (or "friends") (5.51), but rather to "kill the Mushrikun" (idolaters, polytheists, disbelievers) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush" (9.5), then while Jesus says to love one's enemies, what the Qur'an and Islam prescribe is hardly reciprocal.

zackrowe1 1 year ago
@zackrowe1 Conspiracy theories aside, the only way Islam will reign along with the downfall of America is if Almighty God allows it. And given the ever-increasing godlessness of America, as typified by the lukewarm attitudes of so many "Christians" who honor God with their lips, but their hearts are far, far away from Him, then no one should be in complete shock when/if that day should come. "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this we will reap also" (Gal. 6.7).

@BenAliGtor And attacking Franklin Graham changes what when it comes to Islam being a historically, doctrinally, and ethically violent religion?
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski It certainly raises the question of from where you arrived at your "knowledge" of Islam. Like most Bible beaters, from Rev. Billy Bob down at the local First Church of the Gooey Death & Discount House of Worship, no doubt. After all, he IS a graduate of the Bugtussle Alabama School of the Bible and Transmission Repair..
BenAliGtor 1 year ago
@BenAliGtor So, in other words, attacking Franklin Graham changes nothing in regard to Islam's historically, doctrinally, and ethically violent religion. Thank you for that admission. Since that is the case, then, let me ask: Do you think attacking me, personally, changes Islam's historically, doctrinally, and ethically violent religion? I'm sure if you really, really, really think about it really, really, hard, you'll come to the same conclusion. Islam is a violent religion; deal with it.

nolove85es 1 year ago
@nolove85es And the 15,800+ acts of Muslim terrorism since 911 is an honorable thing in Islam? It promotes love to all the kufrs?
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski now compare it to the number of acts christians have done in history which is triple what they have dione plus you are not that smart that these acts are not islam i have studied islam these guys are a false resprentation of what islam is. the problem is that the idiot media portrays them as vilians for personal gain
nolove85es 1 year ago
@nolove85es That's already been done, and just since 911 the Muslims have all the atrocities committed by "Christians" beaten hands down. And if the media has done anything in regards to Islam, it is to promote it.
And you couldn't be more wrong in terms of who the true Muslims are. For it's the Muslim who is willing to following the Qur'an and the Hadith to the letter, which includes all the murder and genocide that they prescribe, who are the true Muslims. It's not the one's who won't.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski you obviously havent read the qu'ran. you are a typical individual trying to strike fear in peoples eyes and like it or not. christians have been the most corrupt from the spanish inquisition in latin america to the popes in history murdering ppl who did not want to convert to christianity and even when bush claimed he spoke to god and that god told him he needed to invade iraq and slutter innocent women and children when they had nothing to do with it.
mancityjunkie 1 year ago
@mancityjunkie And reading the Qur'an changes what when it comes to the mandate: Then when the Sacred Months have passed, then kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salat, and give Zakat, then leave their way free. Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Sura 9:5)?
Ooops, I guess I've read the Qur'an, otherwise, how did I come up with such a loving and "peaceful" quote?

So warm and loving: "Kill him"—Muhammad.

@PriddyTP "Goof ball," none of the things you've mentioned have anything to do with Christianity. And that's the whole point I keep making, and you keep affirming through your "goof ball" responses. If you are therapy is available at a sliding scale..Ow Ya you have Christian Counselors available dont you? So even after you repent, get salvation you can still even seek counseling..Thats awseome!
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP You're still equivocating, which means (1) you're still committing a logical fallacy, and (2) you aren't paying attention. Add to that the fallacy of ad hominem, and I think it goes without saying that you've conceded the argument. So, given that I've addressed this fallacy of yours several times now, unless you show improvement in your next reply, then it will in all likelihood end up in the YouTube zone where no one will either know, or care, that you've written. Have a good life.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@PriddyTP Well, good thing you weren't in the World Trade Center or the Pentagon. And good thing you aren't a young girl who decides to no longer be a Muslim, and therefore, did not become the victim of an "honor killing". If you had been, you wouldn't be here telling us how you haven't been harmed by the Muslim religion.
DSHinNC1969 1 year ago 3
@DSHinNC1969 Exactly. How convenient the vision of these defenders of treachery are when recalling the actual events of history and the doctrines they hold are brought to light. It's just too bad that a secular society tainted by the delusion of "political correctness" will not listen to the truth about this oppressive and tyrannical religion called "Islam." Little do those adhere to such a relative worldview realize that suppressing the truth will cost them their lives one day.
Derengowski 1 year ago
What part of I said I understand the video don't you get nutty proffesor? What part of I said Christians are no better don't you understand nutty proffessor. The Quron may invoke violence which I don't condone however unlike Christians who ask for forgiveness over and over again so they can keep doing it is that how it works?
PriddyTP 1 year ago
Listen goof ball carefully........Yes this video is about Grahams statement about Islamic violence . I get that over and over again. Now understand my statement to you. Christians are no better.......Can you understand that? Or will you respond again like a broken record. Repeating over and over and over. Now go do something bad repent and ask God for forgiveness that's how it works isn't it?
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP Sorry, "goof ball," but there haven't been over 15,000 acts of terrorism committed in the name of Christianity since 9/11. On the other hand, there have been over 15,000 acts of terrorism committed in the name of Islam. Also, a simply check of history will show that Jesus Christ himself never killed or harmed anyone, nor did he teach his followers to do either. Yet, Muhammad not only beheaded upwards of 900 innocent Jews all by himself, but he commanded his followers to follow suit.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Okay goof ball listen this is my last comment.......We hear you repeating yourself over and over and yes your correct this video
is about a statement about Islamic violence. Are you happy. Now hear is my statement to you .
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP Only "goof ball" if you stick the subject, and quit your equivocating. For there is no comparison between Christianity and Islam. In the former we're told, "for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword" (Mt. 26:52). In the latter we're told, "then kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in every ambush" (Sura 9:5). It's a big difference that "goof balls," such as yourself need to quit denying.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Your holy book has two testaments. Dismissing one and relying on the other is tantamount to saying that Hitler wasn't so bad because he built the Autobahn. The Old Testament is half of the silly narrative that you cling to, and it reigns down death upon humanity for the smallest infraction.
TCNill 1 year ago
@TCNill No one has dismissed anything. What is being defended here is context. Christians do not live under the OT economy, and the NT cannot be equated to Islam, since it does not prescribe the maiming and murdering of people who do not believe. Moreover, while persons such as yourself want to pick-n-choose OT narratives where OT Israel was commanded to destroy the wicked, by doing so you conveniently leave out the context answering the question "Why?" So, you're attack is unwarranted.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Deren, Your knowledge of the bible is questionable with that claim. The god of Israel commands killing for countless offenses in the book.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies The only ones to whom it is questionable are those who don't know their Bibles and are trying to confuse the subject. For there are zero references in the NT prescribing or commanding Christians (not OT Israel) to maim, rape, or kill anyone. Yet, there are scores of references in both the Qur'an and Hadith prescribe that the Muslim do those very things (2.244; 8.39; 9.5, 73; 22.39; 60.1; 98.6; Bukhari 3.34.310; 4.52.53. 196, 269, 392 are only a small sampling).
Derengowski 1 year ago
Deren, I have asserted with examples that those suscribing toChristianity are just as capable of violence as those who adhere to Islam, and that Christian holy texts promote violence even beyond that of the Qur'an. Now as to Islam being a violent religion, again, you fail to see that only a small percentage of Muslims twist the aith and use it to promote violence.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies No one ever denied that Christians are capable of violence. But to be comparing basic Christian beliefs with those of Islam is to be comparing apples to oranges. Nowhere in the Bible is the Christian commanded to kill or torture anyone. Yet, as I've already referenced in Sura 9:5 of the Qur'an, reference after reference not only demands violence against unbelievers, it is encouraged and rewarded. And it is irrelevant how many Muslims participate; it is still commanded.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Deren,
You know nothing of my biblical knowledge. Your book calls for as much killing of non-believers as does the Qur'an.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies Sorry, but, once again, this particular thread is about Islamic violence; not whatever proof texts you think you can cull from the Bible to try and equate God, Christianity, or Christians with Islamic terrorism. In fact, the whole offer to equivocate what God commanded the Israelites to do to the pagans, or what Jesus is going to do in the days ahead to the wicked, with what Muhammad prescribed and involved himself with personally, is a fallacy of the worst order.
Derengowski 1 year ago
I don't know which Qur'an you are reading, but Muslims like Christians practice their faiths for the most part without buying into the nonsensical conclusions that many make about what is written. That goes for the Bible and the Qur'an. Muslim and Christian scholars downplay or ignore much of the nonsense found within these so called holy books. You won't kill me because I defy scripture and pick up sticks on th so called sabbath, now will you????
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies You're too funny. You're so caught up in your hatred of Christians that you can't see straight. For there is only Qur'an, and it makes it perfectly clear that that maiming and killing the infidel is prescribed. Just take a look at Sura 9:5, which is often called the Verse of the Sword. "Then when the Sacred Months have passed, then kill the Mushrikun wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them..." And what you know about the Bible is equally vacuous.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Deren,
These guys can twist their so called faith any which way they chose just to justify their behavior. It is no different than Christian anti choice folks who kill doctors in the US. Radical interpretations of Islam may draw in potential terrorists however that is hardly what this fight is about. They want the US out
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies Actually, that is not true. For all one has to do is pick up the Qur'an, the Hadiths, or the Sunnah (or listen to the Imams and Mullahs in primarily Islamic countries), and it is crystal clear that what Islam prescribes is what the Hassan-types are carrying out. In other words, the norm for the Muslim is to act just like Muhammad did, and that is to maim, kill, and destroy, because that's what he did. The "radical" Muslim is the one who fails to imitate Muhammad.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Violence in the name of Islam is hardly perpetrated by the faith. Even someone like yourself who resides outside the realm of reason would realize that.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies So, when an Islamic terrorist commits an act of violence, and cites the Islamic sources which compelled him to act (e.g. Nidal Hassan's copious quoting from the Qur'an and Hadiths), then his Islamic faith is not responsible for helping to perpetrate his senseless act? If so, then just exactly what motivated the Islamic terrorist to act? The Saturday morning cartoons? A bad flavor of Braum's ice cream? Crickets chirping too loudly? What?
Derengowski 1 year ago
Deg,
Critical thought? Free inquiry? Reason? All are foreign to people like you. In fact you appear to be so pathetic that you censure this site. At least fellow atheists won't kill you for believing differently than you do.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
Someone else's allegations? You are a tool. Billy Graham's anti semite remarks are on the tapes. Now who is pulling back from critical thought? America will be victorious when such superstitious bigots hold no influence over the citizenry. I am ashamed that the current president would even sit down and talk with such people.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
Now, if you really want to crawl out of that hole you reside in, you would find that the United States has killed, slaughtered or has been responsible for more in the past 20 years than any other govt or group. That is violence to the extreme. Remember Falluja in 04? 600 elderly women and young children who couldn't get out were blown to smithereens by US airstrikes. Just one of many examples for you
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
Der, Your problem is that you claim the religion to be more violent than your own. History suggests otherwise. As to you and the bigots that you idolize, I fail to see why you cant use a little reasoning ability to conclude that a small percentage of the Islamic faithful use the religion to further their aims. Chriswtianity has it's share of violent characters as well
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
Deg, Yes, I am really concerned about a lunatic like yourself whose knowledge of Franklin Graham does not include his father's bigotry, and his generalized attacks on another deluded faith like his own. Check out the Nixon tapes and find out the vile things Billy Graham said about Jews. I am not a fan of Israeli policies in the occupied territories, however I would never make such statements.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies No thanks, not interested in chasing down someone else's allegations, especially when they have nothing to do with the subject here, which is Islamic violence. So, until you address that reality, which is easily documented by simply picking up a newspaper or doing a casual perusal of Google news, then it's likely that no one will hear from you again until you do. Have a wonderful, Franklin Graham, day. ;-)
Derengowski 1 year ago
Derengowski,
You are unfamiliar with the anti semitic rants by Billy Graham? These are documented on the Nixon tapes. As to the US and Chrisian foundations, you will find that our founders were mostly deists, and the key documents are quite secular. I pity you that you spend too much of your life praying that some celestial dictatorship in the sky will transition you to where you can chase down winged angel babes two at a time. Civilized society has no place for such nonsense.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies Once again, this video is not about Billy Graham, the Jews, Richard Nixon, or whatever else might be floating through your cranial cavity at any given moment. It is about the "violent religion" of Islam. So, if no one hears from you again, then it will be because you're not addressing the subject. In other words, this thread has no place for such nonsense as what you're spewing here
Derengowski 1 year ago
i'm so sick of these religious leaders, who like politicians, say one thing to their followers, then a give completely toned down, boarding on a lying, version to those who question the veracity of those statement (i.e. huckabee).
graham is a twerp living in the shadow of & capitalizing on his father's name & financial security.
the guy's not a christian under any circumstance. he's an ignorant, lying bigot of the 1st order. those that listen to him are as ignorant & bigoted as he.
wntoply6 1 year ago
@wntoply6 Sorry, but the video is about Franklin Graham and Islamic violence, not Mike Huckabee. And the last time I looked, Franklin Graham was living on his own, doing his own ministry, and Billy Graham's fortunes didn't make the Forbes one-million list. As for FG being a Christian, that's for God to ultimately determine, and those, such as yourself, who engage in the kind of attempted character assassination that you are, are definitely not demonstrating Christian character at all.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Graham, along with his bigoted father have no place in the American narrative. They are evil men who tell lies to the young, and do their best to try to convince Americans that our country is based on their silly faith
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies Billy Graham, a bigot? Wow! And the United States is not based on the Judeo-Christian ethic? Again, wow! I'm not sure where you received your education (I'll guess Cal-Berkley, right?), or what planet you've been living on for the most part of your life, so all I'll say is welcome to earth. Hope you enjoy your stay, but be careful. Too many outlandish comments tend to discredit oneself on earth. So, don't sell your hovel back home, wherever that truly is.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Derengowski,
I have addressed Frankilin Grahams comments on numerous occasions. I suggest you look up ad hominen and logical fallacy for your own development. You are well aware that those using religion as a tool to recruit fellow fighters should hardly represent the faith. Graham said that the Muslims have killed so many since 911. I countered that with a factual statement about Western powers.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies LOL...You haven't addressed Graham here, though. All I see is another "lets kill the messenger, and forget the message" type of post, which is typical of those whose own personal ideology is both guilty and vacuous. And the only ones I'm aware of that actively recruit for the express purpose of maiming and murdering the innocent is the "violent religion" that Franklin Graham speaks of, which is Islam.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Franklin Graham is not someone who should hold anyone's attention but those who are deluded with little more than their weak and tiny minds at their disposal.
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies And of course with a screen name like "intermediate species," you are someone who should hold everyone's attention, you're not deluded, and you have a deep-seated intellect at your disposal. All of these things you possess, and never actually addressed anything Graham had to say. You do realize that you've managed to commit a logical fallacy, like so many seem to do, by defaming the messenger without addressing the message. It's called ad hominem. Look it up sometime.
Derengowski 1 year ago
Derengowski,
Yet it is the armies of the Western so called "Christian " nations that have killed the most people since 911, further, no religion comes close to the killing and murderous history of Christianity
intermediatespecies 1 year ago
@intermediatespecies And here I thought you possessed this great intellect, and within two posts you've displayed just the opposite. Not only did you fail to address Graham's comments, now you're committing the fallacy of hasty generalization. For the armies taking out the Muslim thugs in Iraq and Afghanistan have nothing to do with the Christian message. Conversely, we see one nut after another bringing the message of Muslim "love" to America. You really need to get your facts straight.
Derengowski 1 year ago
What happen Deren? I posted 4 more responces . Did you block them or file a complaint with you tube. Is this what a good Christian is suppose to do .....Please forgive me Deren please....Ya right. I don't have any fancy smancy degrees like you, whatya afraid of...,,Go evolve Deren and feed your crap to other suckers!!!!!
PriddyTP 1 year ago
I'll tell you one thing Deren I don't hear any reports of Muslim religious leaders getting accused of molesting and poking little boys in the rear end around the world because they will instantly die!!! Unlike your faith where the preacher is relocated to the Parish Of St "SShhhhhhh!!!!
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP No, we just have over 15,000 reports of terrorism committed by those subscribing to the tenets of Islam since 9/11, that's all. Again, if you want to make specious comparisons, then you must bear the brunt of the consequences when arguing fallaciously.
Derengowski 1 year ago
I'm trying to figure out where I said anything about Islam evolving Derengowski? Many things you can put in my mouth but words is not one of them. I was pointing out to my fellow Christians that Christianity is far from evolved just a friendly reminder I never said Islam was evolved I'm not that ignorant. Furthermore All items I listed where not just directed at Californians I meant the good old entire USA. So go help Christians in prison who slaughtered their families.
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP First of all, I don't believe that you're a Christian, given your libelous (if not scatological) comments concerning Franklin Graham. Second, in case you've missed it, this particular part of YouTube has been set up and developed by me. You have attempted (rather poorly) to make Islam look as if it has evolved, and I have countered your attacks by asking for something other than fallacious argumentation. If you can't handle the challenge, then maybe you should just move on.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski Geeez...you give me a lot of credit and throw in a SCATOLOGICAL and Libelous I have no clue what your saying but it sounds interesting. Thanks. Again I'm just pointing out as a friendly reminder that Christianity has not evolved either or has it? Ow maby the religion has but the members havent. It does not matter to me what you think I am I dont give meaning to meaningless things like you. I think I pinched a nerve nice.
PriddyTP 1 year ago
havent read the Quran ever.
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP Thank you for making my case that you're not a Christian. And once again, if you're going to argue that Islam has evolved, then it would be in your best interest to at least pick up the Qur'an and peruse through it. Moreover, it would behoove you to give up on the fallacious '72 Pinto station wagon argument that I pointed out to you before. It didn't work then, it won't work now. Either give us definitive evidence that Islam has evolved or simply concede the point and move on.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski Never have I said Islam has evolved goof ball? Put on your reading glasses stop puffing on the joint put down the vodka! Geeeez I am pointing out that Christianity has a long way to go and you being a follower of Christ student of the bible should remember that ! Again I'm just saying without fancy words practice what you preach and attempt to teach. Your no better than Islam.
PriddyTP 1 year ago
The most profitable business on the internet (Pornography) The most populated prisons in the world (USA). Education per child in school $8.000/Per inmate in prison early $75.000. Huge homeless problems in urban cities. Pedophiles kidnapping little girls and killing them. Huge Prostitution. Addiction destroying families and preachers molesting boys...And you say Islam has not evolved? What an ass....
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP Once again, pointing out the deficiencies of something or someone does not mean that Islam has evolved. Your argument is no different than saying that because a person's '72 Pinto station wagon is on its last leg, or no longer runs, then Islam has evolved. The only way to show that Islam has evolved is by giving specific examples. And since you haven't given any, then your conclusion is faulty, because your premises are faulty as well.
Derengowski 1 year ago
What a moron Franklin is. In the state of California Domestic Violence happens every 7 seconds. Are Catholic Churches are filled with preachers who like to have sex with little boys. Are prisons are filled with so called Christians who are wife beaters, drug dealers, perverts and pedophiles. Kids are exsposed to pornography!! What planet or what drug are you smoking Franklin?
PriddyTP 1 year ago
@PriddyTP Again, you're arguing apples and oranges. Just because California or wherever is involved in all kinds of immoral activity does not mean that Christianity prescribes or condones it. In fact, Christianity condemns those things. Islam, on the other hand, prescribes wife beating, maiming and murdering of Jews and Christians, lying when it's convenient, adultery through polygamy, etc. So, once again, there's a big difference between what you're arguing and what Graham is saying.

Derengowski 1 year ago
@WorldIslamicOrder "Narrated Anas bin Malik Allah's Apostle entered (Mecca) in the year of the Conquest of (Mecca) wearing a helmet over his head. After he took it off, a man came and said, "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'ba." The Prophet said, "Kill him"—Sahih al-Bukhari, 4.280.
So, if Muhammad wasn't killing people on his own, he ordered his henchmen to kill them as well? Now, what was this about Islam being a peaceful religion?
Derengowski 1 year ago
@WorldIslamicOrder "But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every strategem [sic] (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise [sic] regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful"—Sura 9:5.
Slay the Pagans? Seize them? Beleaguer them? And Islam is a not a "violent religion? Who are you trying to kid?
Derengowski 1 year ago
@WorldIslamicOrder "You will find others that wish to have security from you and security from their people. Every time they are sent back to temptation, they yield thereto. If they withdraw not from you, nor offer you peace, nor restrain their hands, take (hold of) them and kill them wherever you find them. In their case, We have provided you with a clear warrant against them"—Sura 4:91.
Kill them wherever you find them? Now, what were you saying about me learning from Franklin Graham?
Derengowski 1 year ago
@WorldIslamicOrder Sorry, but unless you can show anywhere in Scripture (i.e. the Bible) where what you've written is prescribed, then all you've done is commit libel against Christianity in the name of Islam.
Oh, and btw, taking on a pseudonym like WorldIslamicOrder pretty much says it all in terms of what Franklin Graham, world history, and the present Muslim mindset when it comes to TORTURE, SLAVERY, SEGREGATION, DISCRIMINATION, STEALING, ETC. Way to go by incriminating yourself. ;-)
Derengowski 1 year ago
CAIR or the Council on American Islamic Relations seems disingenuous for INCREDIBLE abuse toward Muslim women continues and Muslim clerics seem to do NOTHING to stop it.
JHJennings 1 year ago
On CAIR I would highly recommend P. David Gaubatz's book "Muslim Mafia," which does an excellent job of exposing CAIR for the terrorist organization that it is, as spin-off group of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski Thank you! All religions have violent histories but we're supposed to know better, by now. I think Islam must have been hijacked by extremists. It has to get better.
JHJennings 1 year ago
@JHJennings Actually JHJennings, whenever we see a Muslim go out and commit an act of terror, that is the Islamic norm. Muhammad led the way, when he was alive by murdering, maiming, and torturing people. It's all over the Qur'an and the Hadiths. And what we see with CAIR and the nuts that are trying to defame Franklin Graham is simply another byproduct of what was started in the 7th century. So, nothing has been hijacked when a Muslim commits an act of terror. That's normal Islam!
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski Well, of course, while you may feel that way, you MUST be incorrect or we would have routine, rampant violence among Muslims in the USA and we do not. There has to be a difference between ordinary Muslims and extremists. EVERY religion has a past that concerns violence against "infidels" but, eventually, that gets resolved.
JHJennings 1 year ago
There is no difference between those doing the murdering and real Islam. And the only reason one doesn't see systematic murders, beheadings, and mutilations in the United States is because the U.S. is not under Sharia Law. And you are incorrect as far as the violent treatment of infidels in all religions. Christianity does not instruct anyone to indiscriminately murder those who disagree with its doctrines. Islam does, though, against both nonbelievers and apostates in the Quran and Hadith.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski How do you explain that there are quite a few muslim soldiers who are valiantly defending the USA? They are not all like the murderer at Ft. Hood. These are real military heros and we are indebted to them. I think you may be an extremist yourself.
JHJennings 1 year ago
@JHJennings I explain it by pointing out that none of them are following the tenets of Islam as they should. In fact, if they were, then they would be acting exactly like Nidal Hassan acted at Fort Hood, by killing as many American soldiers and citizens as possible, for their opposition to the ways of Islam.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski I don't know my Old Testament well enough to give examples but I do know there are some pretty awful things said in it, some of which threaten women! We choose to interpret Christian gospel loosely and we distort the literal translations, just as many Muslims do the Koran. All religions evolve. However extremists stop that evolution and become dictators and madmen. That's what's wrong with Islam.
JHJennings 1 year ago
@JHJennings Well, I teach OT & NT at the college level, as well as World Religions, and I can assure you that what you've written here is pure propaganda that you've probably heard from elsewhere. Once again, there are zero prescriptions in the Christian faith which tells Christians to go out and murder or maim the infidel. There are zero prescriptions telling Christians to make the nonbeliever pay the poll tax. Those things are encouraged in Islam, and it has nothing to do with extremism.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski I'm sure you know more than I but I know of the Crusades and I know ALL religions evolve. Islam has not evolved, is full of severe and brutal beliefs, and is very "rough around the edges" but there are peace-loving Muslims. Someday, they will run the religion. Until then, we must fight against Islamic violence in the name of Allah.
JHJennings 1 year ago
@JHJennings Well, the Crusades were actually the result of the Muslim invasion. Nevertheless, you're are correct that Islam has not evolved, but I disagree that the so-called "peace-loving Muslims" will rule it one day. Finally, the fight against Islam cannot be done in the name of Allah, given that Allah is an idol. And idols do not exist in reality, but are the mere figments of human imagination. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and any battle to be won will be in himalone.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski That is your belief. My belief is that Christianity is based on faith, not hard evidence. i take comfort from some Christian traditions and I like the Judeo-Christian traditions, for the most part. Wasn't it Moliere who said, "if God didn't exist, we would have invented him, anyway." ? I believe that. We need to believe in something larger than ourselves. I believe in the need.
JHJennings 1 year ago
@JHJennings No, it's not merely my belief, as if my belief is separated from fact. It is fact as substantiated by the evidence. Jesus was a real, living, breathing human being, who was also God incarnate, as evidenced by the works that he performed that only God could do. Allah, on the other hand, once again, is an idol. "It' is the product of Muhammad's acceptance of Christian heresies floating around during his day, as he attempted to overthrow the idolatry he did not like. Such irony.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski Nonetheless, your faith is based on belief, not on evidence. Jesus is believed by some to have been God and whatever teachings came from him and his disciples seem to be great teachings. However, though I was brought up as an Episcopalian, I'm a supporter, not a believer. I think faith and belief are important but I think we believe most in our parents.
JHJennings 1 year ago
@JHJennings Sorry, but what you're trying to do is separate belief from reason, and that is totally unreasonable. Jesus and his disciples were real, living beings, who performed real living miracles while walking the earth. That would include the resurrection, which Paul bases the whole Christian religion upon. My suggestion is that you abandon the secularist philosophy of segregating faith from reason, otherwise you will continue to make one self-refuting comment after another.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski Belief involves choice. Reason is absolute. Things either are or they are not. Believe, if you wish but I choose not to. I like Christian traditions but I believe neither Christian nor Islamic doctrine. Frankly, if I had to choose, I would first be a Jew but that, too, even that is more than I can believe in.
JHJennings 1 year ago
@JHJenning Sorry, but reason is only as absolute as the foundation upon which is it based. In fact, some relativists think that they're being reasonable, until it is pointed out just how unreasonable their reason is, due to the absolute lack of an objective basis for believing what they believe. And you say that thing are or they're not, but without a standard beyond subjective "choice," even that conclusion doesn't make any sense. It can't answer the simple question "why?" Jesus did though.
Derengowski 1 year ago

Derengowski 1 year ago
fancyfred, again, you're wasting your time if you think you're going to attack anyone personally, in manner that you have, and not address the contents of the video. My suggestion is that you go find something else to do, like try to understand why your religion promotes violence, and how that violent streak ends up in your posting habits. Oh, and if there's any question about what you're writing, and someone really wants to know, the messages have been preserved for future reference.
Derengowski 1 year ago
fancyfred, I'm not going to allow you to engage in libel and defamation of Franklin Graham as your defense of Islam being anything other than a "violent religion." Now, if you want to address Islam's inherently violent characteristics, great.

@Derengowski you know nothing about islam bro you probably never met a muslim before trust me you are displaying hate and trust me you accusing every muslim individual as a terrorist that is flat out hate and discrimination. trust me christianity has destroyed more lives and that hurts to say cuz i am of christian faith im just ignorant and display hate and lies about islam
nolove85es 1 year ago
@nolove85es You're too funny "nolove" (what an appropriate screen name), taking the usual tack that most of your type do when you can't address the subject: you attack the messenger instead. The fact is, I have not only sat down and discussed Islam with some of the local imams, I have Muslim students attend the classes that I teach. As for you libel against Christianity, more people have been killed at the hands of Muslim terrorists since 911 than all the "Christian" atrocities in its history.
Derengowski 1 year ago
@Derengowski yes that is my youtube name and that was the dumbest and lamest insult your probably just a typical idiot from an evengelical church who do nothing but preach hate you are promoting this for to hate muslims and dont act like there has not been any good muslims. trust me malcolm x was an example plus how come of the neo nazis and kkk leaders have been pastors rev's and fundamentalist christians trust me how come the faith of islam is growing so fast
nolove85es 1 year ago
@nolove85es Insult? You're the one who picked your own screen name, not me. I was simply applauding your choice, given the numerous "no love" comments you've made here. Good job! I couldn't agree more.
Regardless of Malcom X, the neo-Nazis, or Peter Pan for that matter, the fact is your previous comments were rebutted, and you have nothing to say, other than to level another barrage of personal insults. Typical. Yet you also think this someone proves Islam as something wholesome and true?

i cant belive this guy is a religious leader. he is such narrow minded person.he should take time and talk about his own record of abusing blacks, native americans and colonialization of African countries. islam didnt discriminate any race or colonize to robe natural resources. .
habib6933 2 years ago
You're right, habib. When Muhammad's caliphs went on their rampage across the Middle East, North Africa, and into Asia, they didn't discriminate whatsoever. It was either submit or die, regardless of who or what the persons was. And the trend continues to today. On 9/11 the Muslim hijackers didn't care what a person was race-wise. They just flew the planes into the towers and killed as many innocent people as possible. Same thing at Ft. Hood. Guess you never thought about that, did you?

@Derengowski , thank you, I couldn't said it better my self. may God Bless you

It whatever dumbasses! You and Franklin Graham are provoking violent to any religion. That how you brainwash me growing up and motherfuckers you are the terrorists working the KKK!

Keslhy,
Normally I don't approve comments that are filled with the kind of scatological lingo and mean-spirited bravado that you've demonstrated in your response.
Derengowski 2 years ago
@KESLHY , here you are again, spewing your hate, that shows you never learned anything, had you learned, you will not be so sick of your mind
MrOmar1961 1 year ago
Exactly! Good observation! Thank you.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Muslim Iraq fought a war against its neighbor, Muslim Iran in which over 1 million Muslim men died at the hands of other Muslims. Islam has proven to be violent against everyone including other Muslims.
