  • My Losi night crawler will drive normal on flat ground but will not go up any incline. The motor just stops. Could it be the transmission or bearings?

  • What do you recommend for esc and motors, transmitters and receivers for the crawler in this video? THX :)

  • what radio does that reciever go to. i know that it is a two stick transmitter but i forget which one? can you jhelp me.

  • wondering where can i buy the tires

  • dude use shrink wrap for the wires it works so much better and water proofs better if you do it right

  • very good !

  • hey, i really want to water proof my recieveran my scx10. do you know a bout any way to do that that isnt so permanent . i tried balooning it but it wouldnt fit in the box

  • hey by they way if you have a heat gun. heat gun the sticky side of the velcro and it will activate the glue and it will give you a more long lasting stick. i work with it every day.

  • @dimau19 What a great tip!! Thanks man, I will make sure to try that in the next project!

  • @djmedic2008

    is this crawler discontinued

  • if i run two esc units would that allow me to run front and rear tires in separate directions or so i can lock tires like using a dig?

  • @warnher Good questions my friend.. heres the answer.... 2 ESCs are recommended.. but can be VERY frustrating to setup - (but once you get it.. AWESOME) If you read below (in these comments) you will see another had the problem of the wheels going separate directions. This is not a good thing. It was a simple polarity issue. And No... you can not use it like a dig unit. _ though i understand why one would think that. A dig unit is a separate transmission - not available for a SUPER - I think

  • @djmedic2008

i dont remember which company it is but there is a little electronic board that you plug both esc's into and it acts like a dig. while it sends signal to both esc's wit ha flip of a switch the signal isnt given to the rear esc.

  • sweet build, i have that same battery on my cralwers and scalers. fast charging and extremely long runt imes!

  • Medic,

I purchased exactly same components as you have mentioned here. 1 Rooster Crawler and 2 Novak 55T. but my front wheels move forward and rear wheels move backwards when I want to go forward. They both go in opposite direction :((( PLEASE HELP !!!

  • More than likely one of the polarities on your soldering job is actually backwards my friend... Check your positives and negatives... then let me know =)

  • you were correct. That fixed the issue. I reversed the polarity on one of the motors....

    This thing is POWERFUL !!!!

I'll be glad to get good tips from you to make it more AWESPOME :D

  • @Le0Heart how is your super treating you my friend? Lots of fun?

  • @djmedic2008 I actually broke front steering link on my travel (it was nicely packed in my suitcase which was checked into the airline baggage)... And apparently globalhobby does not ship the parts to my country :( .... so its sitting ducks under my bed having spend 1300 USD on it....

These days I am enjoying with my Traxxas slash 4x4 though :P But i think I'll try to machine the part locally here from some hardware machine shop.

  • I am curious, are you sitting to the left of your camera when filming? It always feels you're right next to me to the left. Great video just curious about this small point.

  • Yes, of course I'm there! Thats how I'i able to film and speak about the project as I go. Its all done by improv, and the planning, filming, building, production and graphic design works are all also done by me ;)

This project took 3-4 weeks to complete in total .. I wanted to put you all "Right in the action".. and I figured this was the best way

Glad you enjoyed it ~ :~)

  • Ha :-) I'm in the process of my own R/C build, 34" by 4" scale submarine, dynamic diving. We bought a speed control, but its so bulky I don't think its electronic and will be unusable, its got four wires coming out of it so It can't connect to a transmitter, battery, on/off, etc.

  • you think the esc and reciever will stick on those little rails?

  • Well, I think the optimal way to run the truck.. would be to place a thin lexan plastic to the rails.. that way, you could shift the battery to the links.. and then move the ESC to the tray...

But the project needed to be released by July 4th, so I did my best to hussle and still do a great job.. The crawler is S.I.C.K!

  • this is starting to look like somthing fun to do
