Joe Takehara Sensei always has such gentleness and gracefulness in his technique, sort of a looseness in his muscles, but still very effective. I can't help chuckling while I watch this - he has such a wonderful sense of humor that threads through his movements.
I had the Fortune of learning from Jo Sesei the reason underlying his approach on "softness" and "center" in every technique. His sense of humor, and the superb quality of teaching meant a lot for every Aikido student in his class. Thank you very much Sensei.
