The only aides you can use are auto clutch and auto blip, if you use H shifter the auto blip aid is unavailable.

iRacing actually has rules that forbid intentional wrecking of course like always but it also comes with penalties if someone does wreck other ppl u can get your "license" suspended or revoked for a certain time frame if proven guilty of intentionally wrecking ppl. after all its not just some free game on the web to play!

Great video. I just finished a week of racing this car at Lowe's (Road course config). First time I turned its wheel I hated it. Now that I'm tuned into it I like it a lot. I bought the Skip Barber car but wish I hadn't as it doesn't go any faster and I don't like the engine sound. It's not throaty like this SRF's is.

Anyway this video will help train and inspire me for this week - in which we'll be racing this course.

Good video! Are you using the basic setup? My set is incredibly loose into the corner (Ohio Club set) and a little hard to drive but fast. This little spec drives much like the upper class road cars for sure with a decent setup. See you on the track...

The detail in the laser scanned tracks is great but the graphics overall are outdated. It's a shame that they used nascar 2003 to make this game.

They used some bits of N2003 yes, but pretty much none of it was left untouched and the gfx engine is completely remade.

You can fight the sim/game issue all you want, at the end of the day they are all video games. With that said, there are too many to list that have better graphics than iRacings game.

You know, it isn't true. PC's doesn't have unlmited resources. So the games have to deal with it. Some use more resources to the eyecandy, and some to processing the physics. The first group of games are called driving games, the latter are called driving sims.

Anyway, both are video games, but i personally prefer driving sims than driving games, and i really don't care about all the HDR FX. And iRacing looks much better when viewed in 1680*1050 or greater, than on this little screen.

Dont worry there NONE, there are A TON of games with more eye candy/effects, thats still does not make it photorealistic.

Watch a black and white replay of Iracing and see how much it actually looks and moves like a real video in black and white.
