well i put it in the trash can theni bought something in tv shopping then thomas delivered the refrigirator that it was supposed to be the dog ball and in my north american version i use to many cheats all the time then when i threw the dog ball thomas never returend it

Well, when Thomas delievered the fridge, he doesn't bring the dog ball. But if you re-enter the house and exit, Thomas will give you the dog ball, as long as no one else is coming to your house.

About the cheats, not sure if they works. Thomas will bring the dog ball in 6 days if you leave it on the ground.

I FOUND OUT A WAY TO GET RID OF THE DOG BALL! Stand just a little way from the shipping bin throw the ball, AND the ball will stay there!! Make sure that the ball doesn't go inside the shipping bin. I tried this (It was an accident) and Thomas hasn't come to me ONCE!

There is no father's grave... If you mean that huge rock, that's a previous farmer's grave. Either the one in AWL/AnWL or M/FoMT. Depending what version you have, English or Japanese.

If you leave the dog ball anywhere, Thomas will give it back to you in a few days. Just wait for a week to be sure that the dog ball is gone.

The real question is how Thomas can still give you back the dog ball, in spite of the glitch. D: Whatever I do, the ball will still come back. If you give it to the HG, Thomas will get it back from her. He IS a higher rank than her...
