There's no way I would ever live in NY. The people there have bad attitudes. The apartments are raggedy for like 2000/per month. The violence and noise is never ending. Nothing like sweet southern hospitality.

I won't take for granted where I live. I took time to go up to the 4th floor of my building and looked out the kitchen window. Then I noticed it. There are three cities on the coastal area(live on top of a mountain). Beppu, and Oita, and a third city. And its night. So its quite a beautiful sight, and during the day even better. The fresh mountain air makes things even better. I will miss it once I am back in America. Great video TKO as always :D

I will miss Beppu like I miss living in Istanbul. Both are beautiful places and for Istanbul. Its my dream to actually open up a coffee shop in istanbul right off the coast of the straight that separates europe from asia.. Miss germany, and holland also, and missing China, hongkong, shanghai, macau, malaysia, and singapore, and korea... But there are more places for me to see so I will continue to travel via work/graduate school.btw tokyo isn't a good place to learn japanese. kansaii is ichiban!

lol that's why I mentioned technological advancements. I forget the name or how exactly the device is configured, but it was a work in progress until recently completed. It's not an ordinary telescope. It was made so that it could visually reach overseas (even with the earth being round) in real time. yeah, it's difficult to explain. If you google it you can obtain more in depth info. It's really cool! =)

Seems it was available last year may-june... How can this be? Is this a trick? Is it like a webcam? Seems like you can only see the other telescope in London.

Sad news MoMo... its not real. It was art and they were using fiberoptics. U'd look into the scope and see the image broadcast in real time from London. It was like looking into a telescope and seeing a lil tv monitor.

It was a nice and creative idea, but impossible to implement, so they supplemented the realization with imagination.

Nice idea though and I WISH that I could have seen it when it was here :)

I really like this video. I've been so intrigued with NYC lately. I live in AZ, and its where I grew up, but I've been all over the country, Florida, Boston, LA, the Bay, Chicago, the midwest, the south...etc

But I've just missed the Mid-Atlantic for some reason-and thats where everything happens at! NY, Philly, DC, Baltimore.

I'm gonna find a way to take a trip out there soon. I have to. Even my parents spent a few weeks in NY once but left me and my sisters in Indiana with our grandma!
