  • to an accuracy test make 100000 calculations and get the time between then

  • This is inaccurate as @flapfish stated.

Regardless of .net language, it's converted to CLI.

  • Timer

  • Use the stopwatch class bitches

  • lol, are you serious? this is your test?

You're completly ignoring system dispatcher. Ammong other things.

First run one appliaction and measure time.

    Run second and measure time...

  • @tejka11 I have done other tests, C# tends to run a VERY VERY little bit faster. But yes I completely agree with you this is a retarded way to test this.

  • You are bad

  • C# and VB.net when compiled into ILASM, do have SLIGHTLY different outputs. Though no serious performance differences.

  • Your Pc is so slow:XD

Vb.net is better the C Sharp. boys Thumbs up.

  • @ILoveProgramming -- quoting you... "I have tested this scenario with many different methods, and C# has came out on top each and every time." <<<<---- bull crap. I just wrote two identical infinite loops and tested this... and VB.Net and C# are 100% equal in this respect. boooooooooooooo

  • Even though I love C# I have to tell that this video is a complete B.S. He have lowered the sleep time of the c# code

  • The form that has focus has more priotity that the form without , i bet you a million $ that if you give the vb.net form focus , then C# will lose .

This test doesent mean shit ,

I tried this with C# and C++ in a console app , and the form that had focus alway won , because its focus gives it more priority for windows ...

  • The form that has focus has more priotity that the form without , i bet you a million $ that if you give the vb.net form focus , then C# will lose .

This test doesent mean shit ,

I tried this with C# and C++ in a console app , and the form that had focus alway won , because its focus gives it more access to memory.

  • Dude , the form that has focus is faster ,

because it gets higher priority , this doesn't mean shit ..

I tried the test with C# and C++ , and the form that hade focus always will be faster .

  • You didn't even show the C# code that you use - you showed the Form initialization and NOT the loop.

Thumbs this up so that everyone knows that this is bullshit.

  • @CtrlAltxGhostx

    1. They both compile to the same code, I am aware of this, why do you even want to see it, this video was for the lulz, and obviously it has generated many of them.

    2. Stop begging for thumbs up, you look like a fag and an attention whore.

  • @ILoveProgramming Fuck you. Don't post a misleading video you fucking retard.

I may as well disredit your other videos as bullshit too.

  • @ILoveProgramming you;re a fucking nigger... shut your mouth and go fuck your cock

  • @ILoveProgramming You look like a bitch that didn't show code, FAG :P

  • @CtrlAltxGhostx this is not bullshit IDIOT

  • @mohanrajnr You're a moron. It may have been unintended, but nevertheless, it is incorrect.

  • This is crap tho, both are equal at speed as they compile to exactly the same code.

Probably you have a dual core, with one doing more then the other processor which effect this..

Disassemble it if you don't believe me or see the other thousands of benchmarks online. ;)

  • This is bullshit. I tried this, there is no difference

  • In C++ you would have 2000000 in 2 seconds. Creating VB on based on .NET was a stupid idea. The older idea was better.

  • In C++ you would have 2000000 in 2 seconds.

  • lol how the hell do you do a speed comparison of the same framework? Vb and C# are just like an interface for .NET

  • This test is flawed if you start the C# test first the the vb test is faster.

  • even if c# is my fav, clr code is clr code, vb.net and c# are the same when compiled so c# is not faster than vb.net... and the difference is because of an inaccurate measurement.

the author of this vid is a real noob, with this code you can't do an benchmark and the code is crap... the difference in speed is because he used application.doevents in the vb.net source.

  • @flapfish yes, this test is crap

  • I'm not sure about this

  • C++ rulzz. No questions!

  • VB got owned......

  • @N1GHTWALKER823 FYM and FYD

  • Im a c# fan but hay if you wanna prof some thing show the c# code!
