Am I the only one who is almost scared to death when watching these runs? I mean, when you know that some beasties are on their way to Lara and the speedrunner is trying to do his/her best to avoid them... Seriously, this is very thrilling!

And as exciting it is, I love the chase-moments and the intimidating feeling... :D Speedruns are top-quality entertainment!

To answer your questions...

1.) You have to understand that glitches are not technically cheats. I use them to show the fastest time possible.

2.) This video is a speedrun. Meaning that I wanted to see how fast I could beat the game, and decided to share my skills on YT to show other players some neat tricks.

I don't try to show off by putting these videos up. But I do enjoy getting comments like yours which tell me I am very good at the game. It encourages me to keep doing these ;)

Do you mean the one that gets you above the T-Rex bridge? You have to turn a little more than 45 degrees than jump 2 or 3 times and Lara should bug up.

You know I've watched some vids of your 1st edition of TR1 run, compared with which, these are really a large improvement, not only for using many new tricks - The most important thing is that now your controls here are so fluent that it is almost impossible to get your record beaten. :P

i am thinking of starting to become a speedrunner, first i have a few questions, do you have to have the tomb raiders ON PC, i have all versions on playstation consoles, i know you can use capture cards, also if you use bugs and glitches cant they break your game, what i mean is "corrupt your game", so it fails to load, when i first tried the jump glitch on the this level, i ended up above the bridge, and ended up falling constantly so i had to start my console, so any ideas, and answer my Q TY

I have all games on the PS. Bugs and glitches do nothing to damage your game. At least I've never heard. Occasionaly (2/10 times) if you do the block glitch, you may get a black screen which means Lara is stuck and you have to restart the level or last save point. Other than that you shouldnt have a problem.

MMAN did it in 4:46 without the corner bug so i could have done this about 10 seconds faster on a very perfect run but its frustrating :)
