Mike has said several times that he thinks that this was the worst movie they ever had on MST3K. I would say Manos, Monster A Go-Go, and TISCWSLABMUZ are worse than this but it's still bad....DAMN is it bad.

My second fave episode after Pod People! i actually saw the film itself on USA Up-all night when i was 12 and thought it sucked, thank god for the crew when i was 16 seeing this episode as it healed the scars yet the crew are traumatized

Sheesh...It's hard to get into a movie, even a cheap, low-production 80's movie, when all your main characters are idiots and unfavorable as main characters. Even with this movie trying to be something in the comedy/horror genre, usually some of those films would tend to have one of several likable characters. Hobgoblins?...Not even one. (The Scary Movie and Evil Dead series is a good example of having favorable characters in the comedy/horror genre, though.)
