@hebneh It was really an extension of the half hour English series Danger Man. McGoohan played the same guy (John Drake) but he worked for NATO. THAT version was seen here (contrary to what A&E Video would have you believe) in 1964 and was rarely seen since. This version has been seen and shown in reruns since its original US airing.
@hebneh Incidentally the American copies of the DVDs of this version feature the British version's opening, but include the "Secret Agent Man" theme in the extras.
In french, it's was "Destination Danger"

This is how I saw this show in the USA. I never knew it was originally called "Danger Man"; I only knew it as "Secret Agent".
