My hair gets split ends really fast. Would this be a reason for them not to use it? That would be really pity...

@SanneMusic That is totally fine; just be sure to donate about an inch to two inches more. This way, they can cut the split ends off. :) Good question!

I'm donating my hair this Wednesday, Like all 30 inches of it! haha, But I'm a guy so it'll be alright lol. I've been growing it out for 5 years with out trimming or cutting, ever since about 7th grade and now I'm a senior in high school. Thanks a lot for the video makes things a lot easier!!

I'm planning on braiding my hair in 4 or 5 sections to get the most I can, would that be alright??

And do I have to use a rubber band or would a hair tie be alright??

@BassClefFTW @BassClefFTW That is amazing, John!!! Braiding multiple sections would be totally fine. It's up to you if you want to use a rubber band or hair tie. I prefer rubber bands because the rubber has a better grip on the hair.

thanks for making this!! i just donated 16 inches of hair, and it was my first time doing it, and i haven't had short hair since i was 4!!

my sister donated a couple years ago, and i think she donated 12 inches, because she wanted to keep a little length.

and it's freaky seeing your hair in a bag, when it's not on your head anymore XD

Quite a few other people say that the hair looks "freaky" in a bag instead of on my head too, but it's part of the fun. :)

i have donated like 5 or 6 times i cant remember its been forever but right now i have been working on my hair for 4 years now so i can donate 10 inches to charity and sell 8 inches to a wig shop
