Is it my imagination, or are you tuned to a D? Nice lesson, but hard to follow since you're not tuned to conventional A = 440.

I think what happened was I had everything tuned down a whole step or half step, and forgot..So when I put the capo on it messed it up.

what are the chords for the lead in to the chorus?

Great video! I like how you pointed out that johnny plays the chorus on a different string, didn't know that.
He also starts the song with a barre/semi barre chord, instead of the open position. But the open position is easier, and it's the same notes.
