English is hard to WRITE yes but as for speaking that is a no. because of all the people in america from other nations we all speak it differently, thus alot of people in america can understand any english cuz they hear it in so many ways. but some other languages aren't like this. the one I know most of is Thai, but I've heard Chines is hard to, and MANY others. so english is one of the hardest to write but one of the easiest to speak, unless you wanna be perfect.

How hard a language is to learn also depends on what your first language is, in my case English is a very easy language (I´m Dutch by the way) and German is even easier, but for someone who is used to an other basic structure for languages than the Latin style of western languages English can be very hard.
