I have seven string guitar too, and i use the seventh one drop to A so it's a bit easier ;) if you use a capo (the thing you put on the frets). I don't have it so i practice one tone low.

solid man, probably one of the best covers on here. Random question, whyd you do it in B standard instead of drop B? itd make the chorus part a bit easier to play and a bit more accurate sounding since thats what he uses on the record

The only reason I played it in standard is because of the seven string. I'll only tune my seven down a full step, so tuning (the top sic strings) to drop B would be too far. So I just did it in standard. I want to cover The Thrill in seven standard, but the intro riff is proving to be very difficult to play in standard.

I know this will sound like blasphemy to many guitarists, but my strings have been on this guitar for at least 18 months. Haha. I can't believe I haven't broken one yet. So I have no idea what gauge they are. I have a set of Slinkys sitting here that I've been meaning to put on, but I honestly don't like the feel of Slinkys. I got them as a gift. Boo.

As for the pick, I believe it's the .73 (?) Dunlop Tortex. The yellow one.

I got one other question! Do you have any tips how to get such a quick right hand? And so accurate? I just can't get it done at original speed.... Can you give me some advice?

The way I built speed is in how my musical tastes evolved. When I started playing guitar I listened to Green Day and Nirvana. I then moved on to Metallica and Pantera. From there it was Death and Iced Earth.

Just practice different rhythms slowly and build up to speed. But make sure you're warmed up first. I've tried to play really fast shit when I wasn't warmed up and it just ruins the entire practice session.

But basically, I owe thanks to Iced Earth for my picking speed.
