  • This haunting is so funny and the ghosts are sooooooooo friendly!! :P

  • The ghosts are friendly...They say HI!!! LOL

  • So basically... a psychic made up bullshit for some money and ruined her life.

  • I've been there already, I didn't find it scary or anything, one tip: The owner(?) of the house fave no. is 13, so every you'd look there'd be 13 of it. Like 13 windows, and stuff :)

  • that house is cool... not at all scary even tho it it the 5 most haunted house in california... it sux how you cant buy an origianl rifle or at least shoot one, but they can have it open in the gift shop :P

i have a video up... it is at the talles point witch is the balcony...their used to be a tower that was really high...almost twice the size of the house.. it fell in the 1906 earthquake and trapped her i an room. she belived it to be the spirits beeing angry due to the house almost being done

  • @SanJoseCalYTPage Born in east san jose :D woot woot! wait born in alexian brothers hospital but lived in east...

  • Why in the hell would they haunt the firearm maker, why not the damn person who shot them, why not the graveyard, or the area they've been shot, why not the bullet company, why not the home they lived in, why not there favorite outlet store.

  • @SecularTechnology I think the house is haunted but not by the people killed by those guns. It's haunted by her since she has unfinished business pertaining to working on the house. It doesn't make sense to haunt the person that made the gun but rather the very person that shot it and killed someone. When you watch the documentary on Travel channel it said that one of the housekeepers saw her in the house anyways so it looks like she's not resting in peace and is still working on the house.

  • @Summerslam96

    Good response!

  • Would love to visit their one day. keep seeing it on the Travel Channel just makes me go their so badly cause of the history and the weird cool design, also the haunting s.

  • I go there all the time as I live like 2 miles from it lol

  • seriously, i hate it when people take over a property and makes it into some place where they reconstruct things and move things about, like making gift shops and putting up signs everywhere.. it ruins the whole freakin thing.

  • THE only part I liked was the gift shop and aracade at the mansion LMAOO. I hated the Winchester Basement..it was spooky and dark. =( lol I would never spend a night in the mansion!

  • lmao i love how admission to the gift shop is free lol of course why wouldnt it be free lol

  • I used to live near that house ....

  • I saw that house In person!!! it was really big! and scary...

  • i also saw sum stuff n sumthn pulld mi hair n i was lyk "HOLY SHIT" ><

  • That place is so scary. Oh my gosh, its such a true story. You'll go into one of the room, go up the stairs, and the door leads to NOTHING. just open. Also one of the stair cases start out big and narrow into nothing. So eerie.

  • Don't forget the stairs that go nowhere except to lose the ghosts. Why didn't I think of that haha! Oh! sshh!!

  • ive been there i live in sssj south side san jo...fukin huge

  • that is wicked i heard people have gotten lost in there

and starved to death but then again

you can't beleive everything you here

  • Wow that is one creepy ass house.

  • i live a couple of blocks away from here....scary...

  • They say she has an obsession with Spiderweb motifs and they appear throughout the house......however...in every film i see, there are only TWO spiderweb windows. I hardly think that constitutes "throughout" a 160 + room house.

Is it just me or does the hopuse seem to be bleak and largley unfinished? It must be because they removed all her adornments when she passed. It seems so plain.

  • i saw the story on tv and my grandma also told me the story . its scary!!! btw it has 7 stories in the house!!! i wish i lived there if it wasnt scary!!! well bye

  • I think the weird thing about this house is there is only one bathroom.

  • they have a seance room thats cool

  • its lame i just went there

  • creepy

  • I love the WMH...such a cool and interesting place to check out in SJ. I haven't been in years...I need to visit again. =))))

  • i saw that house in scary but true

  • Ive always had that type of dream in my head. Once I get my own house I would try to build tunnels and rooms underground. It always excites me when I think about it. :D

  • excellent work!

  • omg i'm going

  • excellent work!

  • awesome thanks

  • creapyyy!!

  • i leave couple blocks from this house.

  • i live couple blocks from this house.

  • Amazing house, but what an eerie story.

The Winchester Mystery House was referenced on the TV Show Gilmore Girls, so that's where I first heard about it.

I almost got to see it last time I was in San Fransisco, but didn't make it. I think it'd be cool to see, though.

  • its not haunted.

  • looks interesting!
