  • then fuck off basket 1887

  • finaly an unboxing in english

  • I am using this, and I don't really like this.

Its heavy, finger prints get everwhere.

The touchpad gets super oily very easily.

Hindges are very weak, they are already very loose after around 2 months of closing and opening

    The worst is the speaks.

The tiny holes around the turn on button can get all sort of dust and things in there.

  • It has no vents on the bottom? What about it getting hot? TigerDirect/CircuitCity is selling this, (actually the 4525s) for $399 that I was thinking about getting... but if it gets hot, it wouldn't be a good buy.

  • wow looks very nice

  • Is it any good? I'm getting it anyways, I just want to be sure. :)

  • Geek, would you recommend for student?

  • @Reqrezentin Yea, it works well for a student, though you might want something tougher, like a ThinkPad if you'll be moving it around a lot. Or something lighter.

  • I flinched when you put it down on its glossy side :p

  • i just bought one ,and i think it's incredible but why do you say you can't play cod on it ? btw i3 is better than core 2 duo/

  • i really had to ask - does this baby run counterstrike 1.6 okay? it's the only game i'll play with it and i need it to run smooth.

considering to buy the 4520 for uni in sept.

  • it was like JUST OPEN IT!!!!!

  • probook is excellent designed but technology wise inside isn't up to competitive rivals from other companies...

  • i own 4515s, and i love it:D

  • sure, it'll do the trick, there are new models since I posted this though, so look for out for those

  • Would you say that this laptop would be good for someone like me who will be going to tec to study a IT Support course?

  • i just dont understand why ppl watch some bloke talking about a box? i mean since when a manufacturer lied or somehow forgot to put something in the box that wasnt in the manual.

  • he takes 1.30 1.32 so lets just take a look at the packing materials.....on top we have foam taped or glued in some foam taped ontop of the notebook...YAWN!...and he still hasnt opened the box and watch out for the very unimportant piece of foam shown to the world.....yawn..

  • @TheWoutor It can... i have the same... only 4515 it is with AMD Turion x2... cod6 can be runned on this notebook ;-)

  • hi there.I have a question. Are ThinkPads better than HP business laptops? What about the build quality? Are there any cheap plastics? because I have an R61i and there are some plastics wich flex way too much :s and I'm not happy about taht my step-father uses a T500 and the screen flexes Lenovo doesn't really have a build quality but probably last for a long time,How long would hp laptops work? please help

  • @TheWoutor eh, not really. in fact i'd say no

  • The keyboard looks good

  • Comment removed

  • @legacyking0 of course its perfect for this, but it might lag on games like crysis maxed out

  • is this good for gaming such as playing RPG/Online games? like can it handle Online Games with High Def Graphic requirments..and is it laggy does it freeze every now and then when playing games? can it load files and etc...smoothly?

  • damn it..... you ruened the suprise!

  • would it be good for gaming

  • for hard-core - NO, for casual - yes

  • @coolguy0204

I recently had one of these and sold it for an Asus N71Vn-X1. And I have to say this laptop is more for business use and not gaming.

So, no it wouldn't be good for gaming.

  • @coolguy0204 Yes of course don't even run super mario

  • my school has over 100 of these things lol they downgraded them to windows XP

  • I gonna buy it with Windows 7

  • it is good laptop!

  • It Looks like A good laptop.

  • got one today

  • y would have made it matte black

  • I want to buy a new laptop and I don't know which is better, hp 4510s or dell studio 1555, I've heard that when this hp 4510s is working it has a big noise, is it true?

  • @jancsi90

no... It is fake.... He is not noise.

  • Dell is crap and no, I have the HP from a long time - the noise is almost silent even on full CPU.

  • @Plamen98 not realy. mine is a turbine ....

  • .....

  • Got this yesterday :]

  • me too :D

  • dude... i hope you can fix a bit of lighting next time...could'nt see much details just by missing the lighting :-)

  • yeah its the pre- packed model

  • it looks cool on the outside but when its opened it looks like when of those ancient laptops from the 90s but i can judge a probook by its cover

    5/5

  • how much ram does it have?

  • 4gb

  • 4GB (max 8GB)

  • Good review the keyboard reminds me of the macbook/macbook pro i'm seriously thinking about getting one of these!

  • thanks for the review!

i heard some bad things about the touch buttons. are they really that bad?

and how are the graphics? im not expecting all that much but hopefully its tolerable..

some reviews also complain about the heat and the loud fan.

  • 650$ It's a very cheap price!! I wish I were you!! :)

  • Pretty Sexyy

  • I bought one and there are may options.I got Core 2 duo, 3gb ram and Ati radeon mobile 512 MG + 320 GB HDD ....I pay 650 USD(in europe)

  • Wow, that's a good price.

  • dual usb = two usb ports :S

How is the build quality? Do the hand rests flex? Is the screen surround well reinforced?

  • yea too catch, video is tough :) overall build is better than your typical consumer notebook, but not on par with an elitebook or ThinkPad (etc.). I didn't have any serious issues with it at all. No flex on the palmrests, and the screen seems sturdy enough to hold up... If you are really worried about durability you want the 6930p, but I think most people will be happy with this.

  • yea *good catch*

  • good catch video is tough! the quality is good better than your average consumer notebooks, and I had no issues with the computer in this respect. That said, if you really want durability you should consider the 6930p

  • i heard some bad comments from laptop mag that its keyboards were a bit flexy (preproduction model)

is this still an issue or is it a decent laptop for a decent price?

  • ps. does the keyboard have a backlight thats blue? and is the glossy finish on all north american models?

  • cool

  • cool first comment and cool
