I really hate this scene. I feel that it doesn't have the emotion behind it like the the clip in the first underworld. in the first one she was screaming for dear life and it took longer for her to die. lucan is freaking out more, and victor isnt wearing the same clothes. She also had blond hair and there were more people in jail cells in the background. I think they could have done this movie much better

This was the second saddest scene I've ever seen in my life. The first being Titanic. I cried like a baby in the theater and I always forget Lucian isn't just crying because he lost Sonya, but also for their unborn child. Then I cry a little harder lol

this part pisses me off so much. in the first movie there r other lycans in a cage as sonja is being killed. there arent there in this one. also victor is wearing different clothes in the 1st movie than in this one. also in the first movie sonja dies much slower and is in more pain, in this one she dies super fast and dont looks like it hurts her. i understand why the girl in the first movie had blonde hair and sonja has black cuz they got different actresses, that i'm not mad at

@thebuckrogers22 i agree it does annoy me too, but think of it this way. in the first movie Sonja's death was a memory. Lucian is really old. and over time memories, even the strongest memory, is altered in some way. and i'd bet that Lucian tried to repress that memory. so when it was passed to Michael i'd believe that it had been tampered with so much it wasn't completely accurate.

no dont watch this one first its a building proses! they do this for a reason. go micheal sheen (lucian) he acted the hell out of his character and he was absolutly amazing in new moon. he played Aro of the volturi, for the people who dont no that. the people who rule the vamp world, almost kill edward then almost kill bella. And it was his own hatred and corruption that forced him to kill her. Really, no parent, no matter their views on something, should ever sacrifice their child to please the greater masses or to prove a point. He wanted to prove to the lycans and other vampries they could never mix. And he break his own heart for it

@Prue305 Sonja and Lucian got their revenge when Selene found out the truth. Death came just as quickly to Viktor by the adopted daughter he loved to replace Sonja. It's a important lesson to be learned. What comes around goes around.

@Prue305 Ranting is good! I don't think Lucian wanted to kill all vampires-he loved Sonja, a Vampire. Vampires wanted to kill all Lycans & they were hiding underground. Lucian wanted revenge against Viktor, but through a hybrid vampire/Lycan- the reason Sonja was put to death. Lucian' revenge came when he saw Selene bite Michael. He knew Michael would become a hybrid-he knew how powerful he would be. He also shared Sonja's death w/him, so that he would be aware that Viktor would kill him

@Prue305 What I liked about the movie is that we find out that Lucian is the good guy. I was sorry that he died, because I liked his character. There's a new movie coming out and I'm hoping they get rid of those who oppose their love & begin a new existence of tolerance between the 2 species. For me, that would bring the story together and Sonja/Lucian didn't die in vain. Lucian saved Selene's life, because he saw himself & Sonja, while he knew she would protect Michael from Viktor

@Seastar12363 I think the Council represents the corrupt individuals running this world whoever they are, basking in their self-righteousness and luxury, and not caring enough about the individuals living in 'their' world to create systems that benefit everybody.
