Ummmm he is not that fat. He looks like a he has the typical body for someone who is in their 50/early 60's. He can still outsing 99% of "singers" 1/3 his age.
Why does it matter what he looks like? Not to pick at you vascoglobtrotter, but God looks at the heart and man truly looks on the outside...consider feelings of others when you make those comments. We, the bloggers hide behind a name on a screen, John is up there singing and doing what the Lord calls him to do...doesn't matter what he looks like.
Being a singer and little on the heavy side myself, I know what that does to one's ability to breathe well and sing. Compared to his recordings, I would guess he saves his voice and breath by singing shorter notes live, in order to last through a song or a concert. And that might relate to his weight... :)
@Sparkiview2000 I totally agree with you. I guess we can see who truly lives by faith. People get old, their bodies and voices change with time. He can still rock, he can still belt out those songs. You have to take into consideration the song he is singing, its not the pardon my expression "balls to the wall" kind of Petra song lol
He's crying. So am I. Typical of his songs. :) Love this. A lot.
