  • Do you have to double clutch?

  • i like jerking off my gass too :)

  • for an automatic you put the car in neutral right before you turn, then after you turn and your aligned straight put the car back in drive. just incase anyone wondering.

  • Can I hold the clutch instead of shifting in neutral right after the car turns? Please reply.

  • You can do it, but it will wear out your 1st gear synchro. In fact, you might be unable to even put the car in first if you happen to start shifting too soon. Double clutching will give a spin to your gearbox in the forward direction, and it'll be much easier to put it into gear. If your car is old and the synchros are worn out, it's pretty much necessary.

  • AUTOMATICS, don't bother. Just buy a better car next time.

  • @T1NT33 Let the wheels freespin

  • Dam i thought we should look forward when we reverse ... Thanks for tips

  • One important piece of advice " don't do it too much on one day "

  • I would kill for his car

  • hahahaha he said jerk off the gas

  • @feAr636 You wouldn't be able to get it into first because the intermediate shaft would still be spinning. Letting the clutch out in neutral gets things back in order and then you can proceed to first.

  • @T1NT33 Because when you're in reverse, your intermediate shaft is spinning in reverse. You double clutch to fix that. If you go straight from R to 1st, you'll do some heinous grinding.

  • @Pyroja You could shift right to first, keep the clutch pressed in until the car starts to glide forward because of the momentum and then let go of the clutch. Right?

  • I am also wondering why the double-clutch? Reverse to First won't work because _____?

  • Nice!

  • So... your jerk off the gas?

  • @L3G3NDARYK1LL3R He jerks off the wheel too.

  • @T1NT33 I don't know much about transmissions, but if your car is moving backwards I know that you can't shift into 1st gear (I've tried it), at least on some transmissions. So you need to shift in neutral and rev up the engine, and then you can shift into first, just like he explained on the video (also tried it). I don't really know why you need to double clutch, there are some smart people here, maybe someone can explain this. Or you can always read on Wikipedia :) or google that stuff.

  • @jameson178 yes it can be done. I did it in my moms gmc acadia.

  • Thats right bitches, he did it in a STATION WAGON!!

  • @T1NT33 my thoughts exactly.

  • Jerk off the gas.

  • 0:52 are sunglasses really necessary? I don't even see any sun. Seems douche- baggy to me.

  • "Ugh, don't do it. Don't do it." Very reassuring closing statement there for everyone daring to try, alright!

  • Man I really need to get a beater car.

  • You should also press the foot brakes really hard while turning to try and lock the front wheels and to prevent the car to travel too sideways on the track!

  • I knocked my car 3/4 of an inch off its frame doin that...

  • must there be a full turn lock?

  • Can this be done with an automatic?

  • @Jameson178 ofcourse !

  • Thanks

  • For those who remember, it was originally called The Starsky & Hutch. If your car is lowered it should be easier unless you have racing compound spec tires. It also helps to have your tires inflated to 45psi for a 36 psi max tire or 50 psi with 44psi max tires. The more rigid the tire the easier it is to rotate you car. Don't try this with a van, they flip. I tried and, really folks, they flip!

  • my car is lowered, will it be harder to do?

  • Haha we tried and hit a tree while trying to spin the car to go in the opposite direction LOL :(

  • Is double clutching during the turn really necessary? If so, what for?

  • you can turn around faster you slam on your footbreak right when you jerk the wheel

  • can i do this with my minivan?

  • J turn - 1. reverse 2. get maximum rpm 3. let off gas 4.clutch 5. turn 6. let off clutch 7. drive

  • I had always assumed the handbrake was involved. I have a Tiptronic, no clutch, so I guess I'll have to manage without.

  • if I do it incorrectly with my 2000 pontiac grand am could it turn over?

  • @bangmeister

    Yes.

  • What happens if a cop sees you doing a J turn in a parking lot?

  • @phd1106 he'll probably give you a ticket

  • Jerk off the gas.

  • i like mangoes

  • at around what speed would you recommend the best time to make the turn?

  • all i heard was how to gay-turn

  • Where do you play lacrosse? You talk like a Canadian.

  • now I know how to escape a police roadblock faster, thanks.

  • you don't need to double clutch if you dont have abs, you can just hit the brakes mid through the turn

  • Always look on the other side, i.e. if you spin the steering wheel left, look on the right side of the car. Keep your eyes on the road.

  • I did this in my moms mini van in my curch's parking lot. Its not hard.

  • What's with you Americans and double-clutching? Seriously, why "clutch in, shift to neutral, CLUTCH OUT, CLUTCH BACK IN, shift into first"? clutch in -> shift to neutral, then to first -> clutch out, done. You guys need to learn driving stick. :-)

    Other than that, good tutorial!

  • @Thanju lol I always wonder that too.... soo many peopl talk about its better for your clutch n blah blah blah bud IDK, for me its just a load of BS!!!

  • @Thanju i would recommend that if you dont know nothin about cars shut the fuck up, yo use double clutching because when you go into neutral you speed up your gearbox along with your engine if you do not do that you stress the gearbox and you may not be able to shift into first because the sycnchros arent at similar speed

  • Scooby :B

  • 2006 or 2007 WRX Wagon

  • subie!!!!

  • What car is that?

  • safety matters, always wear a condom while doing your j-turn

  • @toology55 lol

  • @toology55 a condomless J-turn could turn into a baby 9 months later

  • @toology55 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL YOU FUNNY MOTHERFUCKER HAHAAHAAA

  • Don't do it....don't do it thats the best advice in this vid. Unless your taught professionally why do you need it. Whats this a guy works and McDonalds so why does he need to u turn in a scooby wagon.

  • @jbsportstech Stop talking shit when you can't even form sentences.

  • You got a horseride in reverse with Impreza hehe

  • floor board automatics can do this as well.

  • I tried this in my suv and flipped it.

  • @dantheman9360

next time buy a proper car ;)

  • You should really put, do at your own risk. If you do it at the wrong time and place, you could actually flip.

  • Legacy wagon?

  • @MrXoplexable wrx

  • why double declutch?

  • @eddp777 Yeah, why we can just change the gear to the first and wait?

  • I have always been taught not to put car in reverse/first gear while the car is moving. I did happen to put the car in reverse while sliding backwards a little and the gear grinded pretty loudly. I'm not sure I want to this try sort of thing at such high speeds...

  • hi fredword!!!!!!!!!

  • stupid question, but can you roll over if you go too fast?

  • @traxxasslash26 Perhaps if you are in a tall narrow vehicle like an old jeep or van..... in a small compact car I doubt it.

  • why in this vid /watch?v=daQNuKjTKv8 he doesn't say to put shift to neutral once the car starts turning in?

  • @Antony92fromcava You don't have to shift to neutral but it's better for the gearbox. It puts a lot of stress on the gearbox (On the synchronizer rings, to be exact) when you shift from reverse in 1st directly while the car is moving. The gearbox won't break immediately If you don't put in in neutral but it sure will last longer if you do so...

  • GTA IV famous turn

  • what is called when you go in drive 180 into reverse and then 180 back to drive

  • @remixskaterboy3 A 360?

  • Awesome, gotta give that a try.

  • btw would my subaru outback overturn by doing this in flat wet sand?

  • I learnt this in gta iv

  • 0:41, DO WHAT!?!?!?!

  • Nice one!

  • looks like CHARLIE SHEEN from the side lol

  • can u do this forwards

  • i shift to second instead of first, i guess it depends on the car and the speed you're going at

  • this is a good way to roll your car

  • Dudes a c++t, hes talking far too slow and needs to get to the point

  • Easy in your lazy automatics!

  • straight cut gears sound shit when saloons, sedans and hatch backs reverse :D

  • Your a Serious Jerk !!! JERk YOU ! : / " Don't do that in 1:47

  • i tried this once..you definitely feel the swing lol

  • Let's do this with my Twingo :D

  • WHATS THE POINT OF THIS LESSON? MORE LIKELY YOU ARE GOING TO GET A TICKET. STICK WITH THE BASICS

  • alot of jerking and cumming going on

  • @germancatala lol

  • you could just keep the clutch in and go from reverse to 1st. the clutch act as neutral.

  • @risendudelm it's better to double clutch

  • thing i can pull this off with an XC90?

  • You clutch ''In'' and then ''out'' and then ''in'' again while straightening it.

  • atleast your car is beautiful

  • wouldnt you shift to neutral and rev your engine to get a launch out of the turn...

  • some cars flip.

  • you're suppose to slam the brakes to lock the front wheels when you swing around...makes it less messy.

  • can you do this with manual steering>?<

  • LMFAO WHO THE FUK DO U THINK U R CLUTCH IN CLUTCH OUT TURN OFF THE CAR AND CHANGE 3 GEARS TURN UR LIGHTS ON TAKE A DRINK OF JUCIE YANK ON THE WHEEL AND THATS HOW U J TURN U FUKIN FAG U MAKE URSELF SOULD LIKE JET LEE IN A CAR!

  • @aboveandbeyonndd Uhm... Idiot?

  • *there. Lol... silly typo. :-)

  • Why do you shift into N? Why not just hold the clutch? Just wondering.

  • @mengle2004 You don't have to shift in N, but it's better for your gearbox. Because if you stay in R while just holding the clutch, all the gears in your gearbox including the friction disc of the clutch will be spinning really fast, driven by the wheels. If you shift directly to 1st or 2nd then, you put a lot of stress on the synchrounous rings of the gearbox.

If you shift in N first, you brake down the gears and friction disc first before shifting to 1st or 2nd so its better for the gearbox.

  • do you brake when jerk off the gas.

  • what kinda volvo was that ?

  • @kelo0ne umm that was a Subaru Impreza

  • @zkfoster lol he said volvo

  • @zkfoster i asked what kind of volvo that was lol

  • Wow thats pretty good!

  • Fail

  • (I like your volvo)

  • well he's got part of it right but you don't jerk the accelrator. you come off fast but smooth and count to about 2secs. This lets the car settle level rather than having your noise down and boot up.

Then turn the steering wheel but remember make sure you do it to the directs opposit to your passenger. You don't want them to come flying onto your lap now.

Also. Clutch in neutrel clutch out clutch in select a gear. Sorry but no. As soon as you have past 95degs yo want to get a gear 1 or 2nd

  • you have to put it in neutral before you turn the wheel fool! haha what are you doing!? never keep it in drive as you turn the wheel!

  • @KAVIKAAA ever hear of a clutch? You push that in so you can stay in gear while doing that.

  • I f'd up my car pretty good doing this once...

  • @fordsux690

my buddy spun his car around right into a curb doing this once hahaha

  • Make a vid on how to two-wheel-drive like thoes arab guys do. Ive always wonderd how its done and how to do it.

  • dude use and atomatic gear its bether :D

  • @pornhunk no

  • Just wondering why cant u skip going to neutral and straight to first and hold the clutch in ?

  • you suck!! stay in the same lane and control it.

  • why would I need to do that ??

  • @86mustang07 its badass lol

  • jerk off the gas, jerk the wheel, railing the wheel, clutch in out in out in out in PULL OUT PULL OUT!!

  • Dude, check out mine in a 2002 GT. I think its a bit faster, and smoother. Dunno if thats an awd vs rwd issue, but who cares.

  • Can I do this with a rear-wheel drive car?

  • Remember, just cum of the gas. Jerk off the gas real fast. And put a serious jerk off on the wheel. DONT do it too many times in one day. Because gonna start getting tired and doing it wrong.

  • @belizetj OMG .. I laughed so hard that I'm going to sleep now .. Too much for tonight XD

  • @belizetj "Your going to think thats the way your supposed to do it"

  • just jerk off the gas

  • HA HA HA I remember when the J-turn was called a Jim Rockford!

  • i have a doubt, while in automatic, do we need to put neutral or just fo from Reverse To Drive, i ask because i'm afraid of ruining the transmission. More or less, What's the speed you need to do this?

  • Wait, was your shirt an RIT lacrosse shirt? :\ I see R T but wanna know if it's I :p

  • 1:49 don't do that. don't do that. lol

  • Nice job!!

  • a good j-turn is about not to loose speed...but here you almost stopped

  • 1:06 Serious face ftw

  • i think, this j-turn in volvo is a bit poor... he must learn from guy in subaru :D i must try to do this in FSO Polonez

  • so thats a standard i have a automatic its dffrent

  • the car isnt going fast enough to j turn...

  • Ok what's the deal with letting the clutch out when you go into neutral? Just leave the clutch in and just go into 1st! It's just unnecessary to clutch in, go to neutral, clutch out, then clutch right back in, and got to first(wth?!) All you have to do is clutch in, go to neutral(stay clutched in!!), then just go to first and clutch out!

  • how do u do it in a auto without hurting the car

  • what are the chances to flip the car?

  • @tudorgui1992 it dependes de car and the surface

  • @Rik1pk well, let s say then a peugeot 308 and tarmac

  • @tudorgui1992 first...

i BELIEVE the peugeot 308 don't roll over going backwards...

But if you do a J turn going downhill there is a chance to roll over.

Plus chek the tarmac if it has holes or "waves" (the car can roll over or smash the wheels, suspension, axles....).

Do it on a place safe like a parking lot with no cars and poles.

In the rain or on a simple slippery suface are more easier.

    Be carefull and responsable :D.

  • @tudorgui1992 depends on the car... anything with a high center of gravity or big rear wheels or pretty much fucked.

  • how do u like that subie? i love my wagon

  • speed racer

  • I love the sarcasm!!! Great vid

  • i would like to see this durin a high chase pursuit haha

  • @Garyyx24 lol... its happened... /watch?v=6s4ew1DukTk

    watch that

  • jerk off the gas, fab fab fab

  • I cum off the gas.. and jerk off the gas too.. but I have to jerk off the gas before I cum.. ya dig?

  • @zakkkk37 lol at first you were joking around,,

this guy likes to cum :P

  • @zakkkk37 Ha! And it's really funny if you just listen to the video without looking. Definitely an instruction manual for masturbation. Although... it being called a J-turn.... I fear that their could be a high risk of penile fractures in doing this 'manoeuvre' ;-)

  • this is a jerk, a serious railing....hahahaha

  • hehehehe. He said jerk off the gas. Yea that was cool.

  • i jerked off the gas today

  • this maneuver will come in handy when the cops are chasing u and they pit maneuver ur car 180.
