  • It is spelt similar.

  • thanks for the video. Im will buy the Davis & Sanford Provista Tripod because i need to record my videos. but the thing idontknow if my camera can place on it ( SORRY FORBADENGLISH) a got sonyhandycam hdr-cx155e .

and can you explain what is a fluidhead? a lot of videos is saying fluiidhead.

    thanks

  • Just wondering what suggestions you have ..... I cannot unscrew a FLUID head from a tripod after it had been screwed on too tight? No matter how hard I tighten the 'horizonal movement' thumbscrew, the head continues to rotate whilst I try to unsccrw the head, thus preventing the screw from disingaging.

    Thank You....

  • I have had the same problem as well...

Unfortunately, I had to buy a spare tripod and head to get me around this problem. All that I could suggest you do is to take your tripod to a small engineering shop or a friend that has a lot of Mechanical / Fitting skills and perhaps they may be able to provide you with a solution?

If you do decide to do this, you may end up damaging your equipment, so be very careful and make the decision wisely...

    Regards

    Dean.

  • you really dont know what you're talkin.

television camera is much larger then that video tripod head.

  • Thanks for the comment...

I have friends that work or have worked in the television industry, I am aware that these cameras (Betacams) are much larger than modern video cameras...

I have also noticed that some television programs, particuarly reality programs and childrens relevision hows on occasions will use smaller cameras (not Betacams) that have the ability to produce broadcast quality images.

Thanks for your comment, Ihope that this clarifies things better.

    Cheers

    Dean.

    Good Luck

  • Thanks for the video. I am so lost on what to buy. I shoot a Nikon D90 and looking for good tripod, medium price range $200 at most. I constantly travel with it so looking for something versatile. Thanks!
