This presented a unique challenge to the IDF as an army that purports to value human life, one it rose to better than any historic antecedents. The reason why people can’t take my car is that there is the power to enforce my claim over it, sort of like the Israeli’s military enforcing their claim over that particular piece of land. Just because I don’t believe that my claim over that chunk of metal is legitimate doesn’t mean I have to or should stand back and let someone else take it; I pay taxes to a police force to prevent it from happening.

I'm not sure if you understand that although many people want to see Muslims crushed in Gaza, many of all faiths and nations- including Jews are against the oppression in Gaza and have seen grotesque images of that oppression.

OK I'm aware of that and its cute and all, but the truth is that THE TRUTH IS HIDDEN FROM THE VAST MAJORITY. The News coverage is extremely biased, and reporters are barely allowed in Israel and Gaza, they're fucking shot at and ran over. I'm sure most people in the world would condemn it but they simply aren't aware and the ones that have found the truth are too small in numbers.
Other people are feeling oppression, but nothing compared to Gaza.

As of now living a normal life (adolescence, career, family, death) is boring but after the world is stabilized it'll be such a beautiful place that civilian life will very much be worth living.
