me and my sisters and brothers go to pow wow's alot dancing and singing, but my sister got really mad cause she has lighter skin and others taunt her so i try to get her to come if u have any words of advice of help to me to help her, id love it, spirits bless u all
@inatorify Please tell your sister there are many light skinned natives. I am in a worse position as I only have my great,great grandfathers blood in me and the rest of me is Scottish and Irish. My Grt,Grt. grandfather was Brule Sioux and I am very proud of that little bit so tell your sister to stand tall and be proud of who she is.
i remember when my brother use to do this but then he said he did not want to go to pow wows anymore,he also says that he is not a native he makes me made b/c i go every single time when there is a pow wow i dance the butterfly and smoke dances
I'm a big fan of the UND Sioux Nickname and logo and I respect the Standing Rock Nation as well as Spirit Lake no matter what the final call is. God Bless
