love this car but the first engines (the ones i can afford) where absolutely awful. i can choose between a 3.0 diesel which sounds shit, is very slow, underpowered, unreliable and only gets 25mpg, or a 4.4 v8 which is fast enough, but not as fast as you would expect (281 bhp isnt enough to call fast from a 3000kg car) and again, unrealiable and then there is the small part of 17mpg...

I think Range Rovers look tough but in reality they don't crash well. I've heard many fatal rollovers involving RR's. Google it if you don't believe me.

It's just the best SUV, and contrary to a X5 or an Escalade, it has Low Range and can go offroad very easily. It has amazing offroad capabilities and remains very classy. Unbelievable.

In america it may be a trruck,but you are wrong it's an suv....no kinda...i have 2 range rovers and they are both registered as an suv here in new zealand,not a truck....no point asking the government,they already labeled it an suv,on the registration tags.The gas station wouldn't give a toss what it was to be honest.Type in trucks on google images,and you will not see a range rover.

sorry you are wrong.. Merc ML, Bmw X3, Audi Q5, Patriot, Nissan Murano, Toyota Harrier/Lexus RX thats all SUV. Merc G-class, Range, Hummer are all Trucks. different drive train endeavour, different functions designed.

I worked in a landrover dealer a year ago ...and i got to work on a lot of these and go on test drives!!!! its aa brilliant car ...the one i loved was a navy version . i fixed the entertainmentt system , it was navy with white leather...i so now prefer the blsck
