i read my history. all battle life of alexander wae 7 years of which 4 years he fought (half) of the (westren and south westren) afghan tribes. after 4 years of war he couldnt conquer or (subdue) atleast 60% of eastren afghan tribes so he went down to india with less than half sick, tired and low moral soldiers. and thats why he couldnt carry on war in india.
