you have really good art work.I am too a stencil designer but, unlike you I do not know how to draw at all that why I got on to stenciling get a stencil put it black and white and all the different shadows put them in several different types of gray that will make you stencil look really detail and add more reality to them...hope you give me some tips on how to do my stencil designs and put a video on how to cut with detail a stencil that the only thing sometimes i unable to add detail..

cheater! using a filter then print... y cant you learn to draw?! then you painted it in reverse how hard would it have been to turn it over. all the black pieces where you never thought about it too... gosh and youve had soooo many views. im gutd! y do i waste my time pain stakingly drawing them?

im wondering after seeing your finished cut out of the image, how come, I see pieces of black still on there? Is that to keep the image together? I am speaking of the left over black around the mask area.

@xXSC4TMANXx Use spray adhesive to stick your stencil down perfectly so there's 0 lift up. I'm pretty shit at stencils so I got no clue if I'm right, but it might do the trick?

only go in one direction

not up then down then sideways

ive been painting for years and it makes no difference! i generally follow the lines of the stencil to avoid over spray then i fill in the rest!

you can do it on cardboard alright buts its harder to cut on! i use it for some of my bigger stuff. the paper i normally use is called acrylic paper! its for acrylic paints but does well for sutting stencils cos its fairly thick! just get paper from around 300-400 GSM thick and that will make it real easy to cut the stencils

I use plastic filmstrips witch are hard to damage and you can use them like forever

yea i used photoshop! its not really meant to be a tutorial but i just made them on the spot as i was cutting out i didnt bother to do that on photoshop i just picked the places not to cut and just avoided them!

did you use photoshop for this? and howd you do the bridges, cuz there were definetly some spots that needed them, but you made them
