It's really very natural. I was re-watching another episode recently (can't remember which one, in season 3), and Jason was asking Lafayette for some drugs to give to the guy they had in jail. Jason bangs his head on a pot hanging from a rack on the ceiling. I could tell he didn't mean to, but I love that they kept in there.
@scottmhoward Yeah, it's a good one. I went back and found the episode: season 3 episode 7. It's about 27 minutes or so in. LOL... man, that's great. It's worth watching multiple times. He's really a great actor.
@dagger1087 haha, I wish I waited to read this comment. Already found the info and uploaded a clip of it (soon to be a video response to this video). I don't know how I missed that one!! Thanks for the tip!
Again, blooper. If stephen moyer or alexander skaarsgard bumped their heads, they would take it out, as their characters are graceful and powerful. Jason is goofy and pitiful, especially in this scene, and him bumping his head just makes us feel more sorry for him. Reminds me of a scene in Noises off when John Ritter trips going down the stairs but recovers so well that they just left it in.
That's at least three times Jason tripped/hit himself and it didn't look scripted! Amazingly, it fits to his character so well they just had to keep it...
@XxXxPollyJanexXxX Not every nuance on TV is scripted. Sometimes unplanned bloopers don't ruin the scene (like in this case) and are left in. I was wondering if this was true here, since this actor has done similar before (see attached video).
My heart just fell out of my asshole. That was the cutest thing I've ever seen.
