it's studio quality audio, awesome speakers especially played loud! myself i listen to metal and that kind of stuff so i dont want subwoofers to ruin sound quality. i'm not sure if it's not for drum n bass, trance or dance or that kind of stuff. but i think the bass level is just perfect!! and the screen is veeery useful! oh, and forgot to mention, they look sooo awesome when you see them with your own eyes!!!

is it possible to plug a subwoofer with these speakers if so what kind of subwoofer would more suitable to purchase for these speakrs and what kind of cables input/output do they need to be?
Include a Subwoofer? Why? This is a 2.0 system for those who don't want 3 boxes! Logitech already make several 2.1 systems with a Sub!! Thank you Chris!
Why make yet another? Clearly Logitech designed the Z10 to give you the very best bass for the size in a 2.0! They seem to like them in all the reviews.
I already have a Labtech 485 with Sub (not too bad) but I'm reverting to 2 speakers. I know what to expect and prefer to sacrifice some bass for these excellent little boxes!
I have the Creative T20 and the Logitech Z-10. The Logitech has more bass, but the Creative sounds way more clearer than the Z-10 which I perfer. The touch screen on the Logitech irritates me too, ima stick with ordinary buttons.
dude i had that problem, but it went away after i updated the drivers and software. you can find em on the official logitech product site for the z-10 i think its in downloads or support.
They also display ingame information such as statistics, health, weapon and ammo..everything that the G15 screen does. An awesome piece of equipment, only flaw was that the sound isnt deep enough..needs umphf :P
I would recommend checking out the Digital Trends section on Computer speakers. We have a whole section dedicated to reviews on PC Speaker System Reviews. I can't link directly to the page, but if you go to DigitalTrendsDOTcom and then click News at the top of the page, then scroll down to Computer Harware and Peripherals then scroll down to PC Computer Systems, you should find everything you need.
Thanks for watching and please let me know if you have any more questions.
Because if so, I'd rather have one that can make use of audio cards because they generally generate higher quality audio. Could you recommend any high quality speaker sets? I'd preferably have either a 2.0 or 2.1 setup. I thought perhaps the Z-2300 could be something.
I was wondering, I have been looking for the highest possible quality speaker system to date. I will mainly be using it for gaming audio as well as for music. My question is: are these really good speakers? I recently was looking up the Logitech Z Cinema setup, but I heard it basically wasn't worth its price tag. For what it is, it wasn't great quality. Also, I notice these new speakers all come with USB cables. Does this mean it won't make use of audio card acceleration?
I've had these for 4 years and they're the best speakers I've had. For practical purposes I could never play them full volume.

30 watt my ass... no way those little woofer can handle 30W... maybe 30w peak power or 30W total power
Nox665 2 years ago
just becuase a woofers small doent mean it cant handle high amount watts, im guessing it has high quality drivers, to compensate that problem.

Logitech Z520 are better...
lottopotti4 2 years ago
@lottopotti4 There are WAY better than the Z520s. I played them side by side, and the Z10s were clearly superior.
