yes but if you have AVG it may misstake it for a virus, that's what happened to me. just hit "ignore" if that happens. you can also check on Yahoo Answers by typing in "is gimp safe to use" or smt like that and see what other people say.

I had the same problem until i found out it's actually very easy!

All you have to do, is go on the main gimp box file//dialogues//layers and add on channels and paths ! easy (:

u r supposed to open the picture file and it should appear on ur scrren

oh, lol, ofcourse, looked convincing tho, but when I read ur comment I noticed there was no transparentsy and no 3D effects, but then again you can disable them in vista so it would be hard to tell.
