  • Where's my rocket copter

  • Love scott weilands voice here

  • When is someone gonna upload this video with better quality sound i.e. ass-kicking bass? this upload doesn't do this song justice. iTunes sucks cause you have to dl the whole fucking Tank Girl album to get it :(

  • damn it...im trying to loadload this song but the begining kills it cus the dudes are talking and i cant find this song anywhere else. + i can only download youtube videos...can anyone help to help me find another video on here that has this song?

  • @xxx3ddi3xxx I think the Tank Girl soundtrack would be easier to find. :)

  • the look scott has reminds me of fred sanford!!!!lol...love this song reminds me when i was a senior in high school!!!!

  • I love this version!!!! Love Scott all scruffy and stuff! mmmmmmmm

  • HOLY SHIT!! that was a slice of High School for me! Even the 120 Minutes intro.

  • Weiland reminds me of Conan Obrien in this video for some reason.

  • scott weiland rules!! hehehe

  • love this video

his voice was so amazing in this song..

    so amazing

i love both versions but this one more

  • who were the other members of the magnificent bastards?

  • @Recpak Zander Schloss, Jeff Nolan, Bob Thomson and Victor Indrizzo.

  • Never knew there was a video for this! Thanks for posting! :)

  • lmao. You all sound so old. Granted that the music rocked harder in the 90's, I doubt that anyone can really sum up all of the rock music today into the category of suck since you probably don't give it a chance because you hate all of it. lol. Either way, you don't want to be like those people that just listen to the music they grew up with and complain about anything new, do you? Just something to think about. :-)

  • @lemonsandpie You're right. No one wants to end up like the baby boomer generation talking about the '60s. There is now, as there always is, great music being made. Listen to John in the Morning on KXP for one, & as long as there are 3 kids in a garage w/ drums, bass, & guitar, there will always be great music. What we are saying about music now, is that the 00's has been taken over by the corporate media again, just like before Nirvana, feeding us pop crap b/c they know it'll sell & make them $

  • @lemonsandpie Great music is out there, it's just that the corporate shitheads are too afraid to play it, unless it is manufactured by Disney, will have a screaming tween girl following, or is catchy, "safe", & bland. When great current bands (IMO) like Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs etc.. break onto radio, it's b/c the fans have created such a buzz & following, that Clear Channel, MTV (do they still play music?), & the labels, feel safe playing them.

  • Scott's solo version of this song (on his '12 Bar Blues' CD) is so much better than this original.

But this one is good too.

  • did they have any other songs?

  • yes, a song called How Do You Sleep?, which is a cover of John Lennon.

  • I love STP and Scott Weiland but I swear this video has so much REM feel to it. Anyone agree? lol.

  • @mochastuff81 You kidding me? It definitely has an R.E.M. feel to it. I almost thought they ripped the timing off of "Near Wild Heaven" off of the Out of Time album, similar beat, similar chords, shit, I wondered if I am the only one who noticed the similarities, glad to know I am not the only one who took notice.

  • @IcedEarthaholic yep you got it Ice ;)

  • @mochastuff81 either way, this songs does kick ass. I think you and I can agree on that. :)

  • weiland's the man!

  • my first time to view this. is that scott weiland?

  • Yes it is.

  • Okay, I think I must be the only person who likes this version better than the one on 12-bar blues. I just think it rocks harder and it's punchier. The video seems lame though.

  • honestly, I'm still split.

I like the 12 Bar Blues version but this is a good one too!

  • Totally, this version is great

  • Great video, thanks for posting. Weiland is such a fucking artist.

  • die is uuuur fesch^^ (she´s awsome pretty) greets from austria

  • this track = slays 99.9 percent of all 2009 music

  • word up, this year's noisuf-x album was alright!

  • Only 99.9%? Todays music sucks ass by comparison to the 90's. I am so glad I was a teen in the 90's instead of today.

  • OK, a FULL 100 percent. And your so lucky too, I was only 6 in 1995 so I had no ideal what the hell was going on lol

  • @reiserkeiser i agree.. this song is like a masterpiece..

i cant stop listening to it. i have to hear it every-day..

its sad that weiland is no longer appear or act like he was in this video..

    drugs mess you up bad

  • @reiserkeiser Yeah... music sucks now. Maybe more bands need to be on Heroin? it worked for the 90's....

  • @Tchekov006

i'll get addicted and bring it all back!

  • @reiserkeiser why stop there?

  • Such a great band name! Cool track.

  • Good Times....

  • Nice seeing BTE doin the intro, I love them guys

  • I agree with the ones who said the 12 Bar Blues version Scott does is better. It just seems to have a lot more to it.

I think Scott looks fantastic here though, with the strange outfits and all. He was so beautiful at one time!

  • Wow! This song is great but Weiland looks older in this video than he was at the time

  • Because of the beard

  • Thank you very much for posting this video!!

  • whoa, never seen this before

  • What type of suit is that Weiland is wearing? Super long coat, hiked up pants...

  • it's so damn sexy. Scott could be wearing mud and i'd think he was hot. lol. id date any guy that could dance like scott, btw.

  • I have been looking for this song!! Yay!!

  • ok, the 12 Bar Blues version destroys this one, but this one at least has a video. His vocals in this version are stale as hell, but w/e. Has anyone counted the bands Weiland is or has been in? STP, Magnificent Bastards, The Action Girls, Velvet Revolver, he's kind of beating a dead horse.

  • Magnificent Bastards were a side project Weiland was involved in, partly because at the time (1995) STP were on the verge of splitting up.

  • Yeah, the 12 bar blues one was SO much better. This is just "eh" compared to Scott's.

  • Thanks, siempre había querido ver este video.

    = )

  • Libertad is the best Rock cd since Contraband. Who ever doesn't like VR is a total tonedeaf jerk and should shut up. Scott Weiland RULEZ beyond comparison!!!

  • I like his solo version better.

  • Sound is kind of thin.

  • Your a fuckin' dipshit libertad is the best rock album of 2007..

  • this video is silly

  • Weiland back in his grnge days before he completely sucked. I never saw this video before. Thanks for uploading it. I wonder why he redid it and released it on 12 Bar Blues.

  • He doesn't 'completely suck'. I liked him in the Core/Purple days better too, but to say that No. 4, SLDD, and Libertad are sucky is just plain wrong. Libertad is the best album of this year.

12BB was a nice, experimentative album, but this version of Mockingbird Girl shits all over his solo effort.
