Lamest victory ever! They couldn't have at least Blake outwit Alexis and Ben? Blake's whole bluff rests on the word of a whore and a discredited drunk, and the word of a dead woman who can't address the subject? Good God, I still can't root for Blake. What a lame victory. I'd maybe be more sympathetic for Blake if he weren't such a pompous, arrogant hypocrite. Explain to me again why he is the "hero" of the series?
If Ben thought Blake was bluffing why did he give back the money or the 50% of the leases. He could have kept them and betting on Blake just bluffing as was his initial intention before Alexis faltered.
Alexis was always flying in smoked salmon from somewhere - what I wouldn't give to see her food import bill when it got to Accounting at Colbyco! LMAO.
Alexis looks like the dragon that she really is in that red dress with the over-the-top sleeves. The writers could have done a better job of balancing her character by making her vulnerable to someone; thusmaking her less boring.
I would have loved to see a fantasy crossover of Dynasty & Knots Landing. ColbyCo was so hungry for oil---why not drill for it at Lotus Point? Could you imagine Abby & Alexis teaming up together?
I think Abby put on a better front -- she looks like a nice person -- you don't see the fangs right away like you do with Alexis.
Alexis would have double crossed Abby. Not to mention the fact that Karen would have SHIT at the mere thought of an oil rig on Lotus Point. I would have loved to see Alexis tear her ass down a peg or 2
Not if Abby would have gotten to her first. I think Abby was a different kind of bitch, but a bitch nonetheless. Abby was definitely trampier than Alexis, no question.
Alexis didn't have a "Karen" to keep her in check -- the closest thing she had was her son Steven. But notice in compring Alexis to Abby that Abby always won -- Alexis didn't. She paid the price for her treachery from time to time while Abby always got away scot-free.
Another observation -- Alexis tried over and over to ruin Blake and Krystle's marriage and failed every time.
Abby succeeded in breaking up Gary and Valene but eventually they got back together again. Abby is the true homewrecker in my opinion, a fact that Karen so deliciously told her from time to time.
