If Tebow wants to express his religious belief in public then let him as some other athletes express their religions in some other rituals. Tim Tebow expresses his religious belief whether on or off the media. He comes from a very religious family and been doing this for a long time now and I don't believe he does this just get attention.
Only a bitter recovering alcoholic and drug addict would find fault with Tebow. Jim Norton's comedy routine is like Andrew dice Clay's only not near as funny. And as far as being showboaty? (Is that even a word you mongoloid) he's been doing the same things since he was in high school. So get over yourself and deal with it.
Tebow needs to take a lesson from that book of mythology he loves so much: “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. Matthew 6: 5-6
@bongo481241 The Bible verse is saying that you should pray alone, not in public so others can see you pray. Tebow is doing exactly what the Bible is saying not to do buy praying during the game...after the game...and talking about his loves for jesus every 3 seconds. Try and understand what your own book says. Sit down and actually read it and you will see it is one of the greatest promo tools for being atheist.
ALL HE DOES IS WIN!? He got crushed by the Lions, Patriots, and Bills...then he only put up 3 points on the Chiefs. Get fuckin' real. The best he did was beat a 8-8 Jets team. He did pull off a win against the steelers...but the seahawks beat the Saints last year in the Playoffs...everyone has a lucky game. AND Bongo481241 is only on this video for Tebow...he is no fan of O and A. Go cheer for your joke of a QB somewhere else. cont...
What the hell has Jimmy ever done? His life must be so much better than everyone elses. All he can do is insult other people. Cant be happy for someone who has faith in a higher power. Is Tebow supposed to stop talking about God and Jesus now that he's in the spotlight. Nope, Jimmies just a bitter angry little man. Not very funny either
Tim Tebow is nasty. Never dreamed he would beat my beloved Steelers. I would rather see someone being positive and a genuine good guy than to have another thug with dread locks down his back, getting arrested, fathering a bunch of kids, and being a terrible human being.

The "thanking God" thing should be Divine Providence as in He allowed the person thanking Him to achieve what they did on their own, not some prayer quid pro quo.
That being said, anytime you add in outside world alignments, it takes away something special we have in American sports. We don't have our teams aligned with political groups or religious sects, so we don't get the insane amount of violence at our games like you see elsewhere.

@metalscottsman He probably does pray in private you dummy. hes a celebrity, you cant just quote random bible verses when its convenient

@bongo481241 Woah, I guess praying in private too completely erases his constant flaunting of it in public.
