Well, if you must know, when I took violin lessons ages ago the teacher said it was wrong to use the arm. The vibrato should only be done from the wrist in a swaying motion and I've done that. Why waste energy using the entire forearm when just the wrist will accomplish the same thing? Just my thoughts.

i am going to buy and play for violin for the first time in my life

i previously played electric guitar

and i am interested in playing electric violin any suggustions for a good starter violin that can last a while but with good tone
