  • Remember when you do the swiping motion you have to keep your leg straight. Try to kick your leg like straight into your face it wont actually hit your face but it'll give you air.

  • For people learning flares. YOU DON'T NEED MUSCLES. It's about Technique. Sure muscles will help, but all you need to do is keep to keep training.

  • @kinglynx Not so much strength, but good balance and lots of momentum, muscles are important too, but not as important as everyone makes it seem :P

  • @LittleMKing I would say strong abdominal & oblique muscles are key due to the movement of the hips in the flare. However, the flare is mostly muscle memory like pretty much every bboy move.

  • @TheSilentAssassin5 well if you look at his windmill tutorial and this then you can see he basically says windmills, as they shud take a week or two if practiced correctly a flare he said can take months. On top of that he said that flares are different than windmills in that when you have a windmill you can easily continue onto 2 or 3 etc. but with flares you have to learn to get a second one so it's harder, despite all this, it all depends on the person. You cud just find the flare easier!

  • I Had 15 flares and i quit breakdanceing for 8 month and now i only have 1 falre and i cant keep going lol thats wierd ...

  • @shooker244 if you got airflares down use that momentum to transition into flares or vice versa, try your airflares counter clockwise
