  • now you cant windrow

  • I think you are doing an exellent job trying to help out the "smaller guys" and you will definitely fill a hole in the maket...good luck!

  • @tscholent

Thank you! I appreciate your words of encouragement!

  • That tundra works quite well with an 8' er? hard to find anybody out there using tundras to plow snow! cool to see that

  • good try, but no comparison to the snow way mega blade.. all i do is self storage type properties, so i know why you were trying to be innovative with these things.. the trip action is nicely done, but ur doin this demo with an inch of snow on the ground if that..you keep packin those piles in and you will destroy those things.. plus what are u gonna do get out and take em off when you wanna roll snow.. my mega blade is 11.5 ft wide in straight position.. get a ford first then the megablade

  • I can see why you'd be skeptical, but 1st, you're right there is now comparison to the megablade. The Megablade can be positioned in box position & in straight plow position hydraulically. It also weighs upwards of half a ton and costs upwards of 7K. Yes, it was about an 1" of snow, but again it was for illustration purposes. I run these on multiple trucks for some time & have yet to replace a wing. And yes , I have used them in fluffy & wet, heavy snow, & drifts up to 2 feet. To be continued...

  • ....Continued. Like I said, above, there is no comparison to the Mega blade, but that's not the intent. It's meant to give more carrying capacity & versatility to a straight blade. AND increased productivity. I'm sure you know the benefits of having a box plow on the front of your truck & don't need me to tell you. If you want to roll/windrow you can hold the wing in the retracted position, or remove it in under 1min. The type of truck be it a Ford or not is irrelevant to the point of the wings.

  • There is a bracket that mounts to the shoe bracket. The wing(s) has/have a rod that slides into the above mentioned bracket. You hold the wing in place with a single pin. There are also 2 short chains that you hook up that are used to keep the wings from buckling out. you can see them in one of my other videos. it takes less than 1 min per side to put the wings in place or remove them.

  • how do they go on and come off?

  • Thanks!. I'm working on bringing them to market soon. I'll keep you posted.

  • Hardly any trail off at all. Nice. They on the market yet? I'll take a set.
