he didn't make a mistake. He just did a genuine cut, then did the false cut after. All teachers make mistakes the best of the best make mistakes. I teach for a living and I make mistakes. Some people are dumb. I am glad he took his time to share his knowledge with others.

@dreamscaper2008 That's rubbish, the reason you feel like that is because you're focused on that exact part of his body language, which makes it look suspicious to you. In fact most (all normal socially adapted) people are accustomed to the fact that many different people have many different quirks in their way of moving and as long as the movement isn't too large (broad gesturing) it gets "filed away" by our brain as an unremarkable quirk of his body language and is quickly forgotten.

@LazarethPrime Your response is rubbish. Banging one half of the deck against the other is something that just isn't done. Something that is un natural like that will be picked up on. It took me about a dozen viewings to spot the fake afterwards, but once I saw something done (banging) I was suspecious and watched closely. It's not a quirk, it's not something anyone does. It's suspecious, it's noticeable.And it won't be forgotten until the person who notices sees why.
